"Well that really depends on what kind of girl you think I am." Talia teased sliding her gun back in it’s holster — keeping it out would have seemed suspicious if the man was human, and she didn’t want to have to explain to the authorities what she was doing— but she kept the safety off…Just in case. “I’m just going out for a run.” She explained, stepping into the light a little more. “This is the only time that I can manage to fit it in. Plus…It is beautiful.” Her smile was genuine but a little tentative, and her guard was still raised as high as it should have been while hunting. Talia’s voice had many different tones and tints that could all work together while still being a contradiction. She had a way of being both the cold serious silver spoon that stirred the boiling pot and the warm sweet caramel that coated it. “What’s a boy like you doing out this late?” She asked with a cheeky grin. “Haven’t you heard? There might be some scary things lurking around.”
Raising an eyebrow at the girl's words, Isaiah let out a chuckle. "I think it's safe to say that neither of us are that worried, then," he shrugged. He was thankful that it was dark and she couldn't see him perfectly or she would be able to tell he was watching her warily. Although her putting her weapon away made him feel a tiny bit better about running into her. Perhaps he had made the right decision by approaching the girl. "You're by far the scariest thing I've run into tonight," he replied. His tone was playful and joking, but in all honesty it was the truth. He would not be caught by hunters. He was smarter than that-- damn it-- he should have known better than to let out that howl the few minutes prior. Pressing his lips together he watched her to see if she would move away from him. Currently, the situation was neutral and neither of them had the upper hand. Any small tip in the balance would change that-- Isaiah had to tread carefully.
