saying lucas is being portrayed to show a lack of compassion from this clip alone is kinda a reach in my opinion. i think this is a pretty normal reaction considering eliott has probably been distant and hiding things for a while. lucas isnt an idiot, he obviously knows eliott isn’t being honest with him. this is probably months of frustration. he just wants his bf to be honest. i don’t think this really takes away from his character or goes against his character development. if anything i think it really fits🤷♀️ people don’t have infinite patience, even lucas towards eliott. this is nothing against lola personally. lola is almost like a stranger to lucas and that’s the other disconnect. but i’m really not seeing a heartless, mean lucas portrayed in this clip, just a frustrated and heartbroken one.
