This blog is basically me, writing fanfics. Mostly about Skamverse. Can’t promise they’ll be good, but you know, I try my best. English is not my first language, so I’m sorry in advance for any mistakes.

you get a comment on tumblr. it's a bot trying to scam you. you get a DM. it's a bot trying to scam you. you get a message on instagram. its a bot trying to scam you. you're an author and you get an email telling you how much they loved your book and want to showcase it at their bookclub. it's a bot trying to scam you (and it uses bad AI to pretend it knows your story). you get a comment on ao3 saying how much they love your fic - and they made you fanart!! it's a bot trying to scam you. you get a hate comment on ao3 which insults your writing or calls you a monster for writing something "problematic". it's a bot. but at least that one isn't trying to scam you.

Watching the WCup qualifiers, thinking about a fic about an older, grumpy, tall player and a soft, skilled and shy newcomer. Past and present best player in the world of sorts, in the same national team. They get close during the few weeks of training they have during qualifiers, the older one scores the goal who'll take the team to their first WCup. I just don't know who I would write the characters. (in the Skam universe, or, if I really wanna test my patience, that Heated hockey show)

I've been here for a minute, and my peak as a fic writer was somewhere around 2019, probably with some Skam France fic 😆 This level of hits only happened once or twice.

I never thought I was going to reach this with a sram fic!

I feel like these photos are very not in character - meaning these are Fran and Borna backstage or something - which again shows how good they are in character because you can just look at their face doing nothing and you can still tell the difference, and still, somehow, this is the most Lovro and Ivan they have ever been.

I’m not purist or whatever but I just don’t get some things…

And I’ve tried to stay away from the drama and this specific matter, but I just have to say it.

Skam has a pretty specific format, specific details/characters. Flaws and successes, it is what it is.

Now…

If you can’t or doesn’t want to commit to it, why make a remake?

Make an own original show then, create your fandom, your fan base

Apparently that’ll fix most of your problems.
