Work in progress. Monster clay.
Work in progress. So much beauty in wrinkles. Celebrate them if you got them. A life lived leaves marks.
Tara. A plaster cast of a scale 1:1 sculpture I made to practice pores.

"Rhino Guy" is a character I created 2012 during an online class for Jordu Schell. It marked a distinct milestone in my development as a sculptor and character designer. It's been sitting on a shelf squinting at me ever since, beckoning me to make duplicates and have its spawns stampede all over the place. I'm a bit on the fence on this one, but it keeps bugging me so I decided to do this check for interest. The bust measures about 6 inches or 15 cm from tip of horn to bottom of neck and is sculpted in Super Sculpey by yours truly. To make this happen I'd have to cut him up a lil bit and make silicone molds out of the pieces. Once that's done I can cast copies in resin. Each cast usually requires some post-work, sanding down cast-lines and repairing air-bubbles and whatnot. Everything would be done by me by hand, sweat, tears, the occasional drop of blod and an unhealthy seasoning of carajos. So if you or any of your friends would be interested in owning an unpainted resin cast of this sweet pretty much harmless and house broken guy let me know kthxbye.

Secrets - dirt early concept in Monster Clay. I love this stage. Throwing on clay to see what sticks (literally and not). A tribute to one of my favourite artists with whom I most probably share dreamscape.
Korrasami - First Embrace
11" (28cm) tall statue of Korra and Asami from Avatar: The Legend of Korra. Sculpted in Monster Clay, cast in resin through silicone mold and finally airbrushed with aluminum white acrylic paint.
