Hello,
For anyone whoâs noticed the complete silence from us over the past year, I wanted to apologize. Jon has been occupied with school and work, as well as planning some major changes in her life. In other words, sheâs busy trying to save the world.
As for me, my poetic muse has been non-existent for the past year. Without realizing it, so much time had passed with me not attending to this prompt blog. I basically betrayed both it and my own writing blog. I couldnât write, nor could I contribute to the writings of others with new prompts. So this pet project of mine has been sitting here, collecting digital dust.
For the sake of formality, Iâm announcing that isfpprompts is on an indefinite hiatus. I wonât delete this blog, because itâs full of beautiful prompts and pieces. One day, I might want to look back on this and maybe draw new inspiration from old ideas. Or, I might read through all the posts and reminisce. Or, I might even try to revive this side project of mine. Who knows.
In any case, I want to thank all of you for sticking around. I hope our time here has been helpful to you. That was the goal when I started isfpprompts (initially known as introverted-prompts, if I remember correctly. But I digress). I wanted to help other writers discover themselves, or awaken something they didnât even know they had.
Most importantly, I want to thank @scattered-wings for staying with me on this crazy ride. Especially because she took it upon herself to design the theme/aesthetics of the blog, and change it as needed (coding on Tumblr ainât easy...). We may not know each other in person, but we made one hell of a team. And sheâs one hell of a writer. Iâd recommend following her on Instagram (@jegpoetry). Seriously, sheâs amazing.
Keep on writing, - Justin
