Help Me Save Money To Move Out!
Hello everyone! I’m a 20 year old black woman and I’m currently still living with both of my parents. My mother is a very emotionally abusive woman and my therapist has advised me to get away from her as soon as I can. However, I’m completely financially dependent on both of my parents, mainly my dad (but barely) as my mother refuses to support me financially, which I have been perfectly fine with as she will try to guilt-trip me and hold her support over my head. I really need to get my own place and start fresh as my therapist and psychiatrist have encouraged me to do.
I only have a part-time job right now but I’m not making enough money to even be able to save up as all my money goes into necessities such as gas, food, and bills. I’m only making max $430/month. I want to get a better and higher paying job soon, but right now I’m stuck with this job. I have a small business that I’ve invested a lot into but it’s not doing very well right now, and I’ve been hoping that the revenue will help me save up for an apartment so I can move out of my home.
I should also mention that my parents are fighting a lot because my dad cheated, and they can’t decide whether or not to divorce, and they’ve been putting me in the middle of it, mainly my mom, which is taking a serious toll on my mental and physical health. They’re getting ready to sell the house and I have no idea what our living situation is going to look like after that. I’d rather not be around for it long.
I’m not going to ask you to donate money to me, as I’m not very comfortable with that (no shade to those who ask for donations though, I understand things are difficult). I ask that you buy things from my etsy so that you can receive something in return. I’m really desperate here and need all the support I can get.
I promise that this is not just some ruse to get you guys to buy my stuff. I’m very serious and genuine and I just honestly prefer that you guys would get something in return for supporting me since I’m not in any immediate danger like other donation posts, and I have the ability to give something in return.
