Hayat could not help but burst out laughing as she shook her head. “I don’t think I will actually pursue that dream. I have such a soft spot for babies and kids in general but they’re an awful lot of work, aren’t they? And they are really expensive. I’m not about to raise eleven children on the salary of an adjunct Arabic professor.”

“You could always marry some billionaire and adopt a bunch of babies and little kids. Or you could always be an elementary school teacher, you’ll have dozens of kids without the responsibility.”

“Thank you. My goal is to work in the NICU, or the pediatric hospital, maybe a clinic,” she shrugged and laughed. “I just want to specialize in pediatrics. I like kids, and babies. I’ve been looking at my options, but I haven’t decided yet.” She took a few sips of her coffee. “Just work. Why? And how’s work been for you anyway?”

“Oh, that’s so awesome! I’m working at an ob/gyn clinic if that’s something you might be interested in. It’s not NICU, but you still get to work with babies...if you count delivering them,” she joked. “Oh nevermind, I’m going to Jamaica this weekend and I always book two tickets, partially because I don’t like sitting next to strangers on a plane and partially because you never know who needs a spontaneous trip”

“I’ve only ever left Australia to come to The United States,” Allison said with a chuckle. “Otherwise…never left the country for travel or anything. But it’s definitely something I need to do one day. And I’m good, school’s good, thank you for asking. Just one more semester and I can work as an RN,” she said excitedly. 

“That's great, I’m so happy for you. Are you going to work at the same hospital, or are you going to look elsewhere?” Taking a few sips from her coffee, she sat back, legs crossed over. “Do you have any plans Thursday to Friday?”

JENSEN:

“That would be quite something to look forward to.” He admitted. He leaned back and stretched himself out before readjusting himself. He nuzzled on into the couch and then waited for the movie to start. “Especially if it’s movies like this.” 

Returning a shy smile, she leaned towards him, there was something about him that she found comforting. Perhaps it was his chivalrous nature, his politeness? She wasn’t sure, couldn’t quite put her finger on it, but there was definitely something about the man.

“Summer loving had me a blast, summer loving happened so fast, I met a girl crazy for me, met a boy cute as can be, summer days drifting away to oh oh the summer nights” she sang along softly. Darting her eyes towards the other, she gave a wide smile hoping he’d join her.

Allison was excited to meet up with her friend for coffee. She’d already had three cups that day, but she was running on three hours of sleep and could use some more. Walking into the coffee shop, she looked around and smiled when she saw Isla, heading over to her and standing in line so they could get their coffee order. “Hey Izzy! What’s new?” she asked when she met up with her. “Besides Thailand, Singapore, and… Japan?” She chuckled softly. “So cool, by the way.” @islamoonsawh

Allison had a way of lighting up a room the instant she walked in, she was one of those people that few get the privilege of exchanging an experience with, just so extremely kind. “Thanks, I don’t know if I ever told you but I actually spent a lot of time in Japan as a kid...but how have you been? Tell what’s new? How’s school?”

“Will that be all?” Antonio questioned, as he looked over at the person sitting across from the bar. “Or should I open a tab for you?” It had been a busy night at the club, so he decided to give them a hand. Not that it mattered right now. His shipment wasn’t due until much later when the club was closed. So for the moment, all he had to do was this. Besides he didn’t mind helping out at all, this was his business outside from his father’s business. It was like actually his and none could take it from him. @pbtags

“For now, I’ll order something else later...depends how I feel, here’s my card, keep it open,” she slid her card across the bar. Sipping on her martini, tapping her foot to the beat of the song. “Is it always this busy?”

Allison: No need to be sorry, traveling is awesome!! I wish I could travel more. Where have you been going? I want to hear all about it.

Allison: I get off work at 3. :) Anytime after that if you're free?

Isla: I just got back in from Seattle, visiting a friend

Isla: But actual travels? I was in Thailand, Singapore, and Japan for most of June.

Isle: I'm off the next two days, so I can def meet you after work.

After she went to go change, Jensen took the bowls from the kitchen to the sofa and sat down. “I encourage it.” He said as he leaned back on the couch. His glossy eyes focused on the TV. 

“Are you sure? I’m a medical professional, let me know if there’s anything,” she offered in a gentle voice. She referred to it as her work voice, it was the softest she could speak. 

“Awesome! I haven’t watched it in so long, I’m actually a little excited to watch it. My good sir, could this possibly become a norm for us, having a movie night?” She shot him a shy smile as she clicked the remote starting the movie, She danced a little bit with the opening sequence of the movie. Throw any beat her way and she’d find a reason to move.
