Can you write about Carlisle and Esme falling asleep together (vampire or human idc) and just being cute? :)
i think about human carlesme meeting as teenagers a lot tbh like imagine him moving in across the street or some shit
Carlisle sighed softly, reaching out to pick a leaf from her hair. A number of them had gotten stuck in her unruly curls when she climbed up the tree situated next to his bedroom window. āMy dad...ā
āYou always leave before him in the mornings.ā Esme pointed out. āYou can wake me and Iāll go before he even wakes.ā
Carlisle hesitatedā he didnāt want her to go, he never did, but he couldnāt imagine how angry his father would be if he found out that a girl had slept over.
āPlease?ā She reached out to take his hand. āI donāt want to go home.ā
āI donāt want you to go home.ā He admitted, tugging her closer to lay down on his tiny twin bed.
She kicked her shoes off and shrugged out of the old sweater sheād thrown over her nightdress before settling down beside him, her head resting on his pillow too.
Carlisle couldnāt help but smile, couldnāt help the racing of his heart either. He loved her terribly despite never having the courage to admit it.
He could feel the blush creeping up his cheeks as she shifted closer to him. He reached blindly for the blanket and pulled it up to their shoulders, making sure it was settled over her just right.
He didnāt respond; instead, he lifted a hand to her hair, tucking some curls back behind her ear.
He froze when her hand pressed down over his, her fingers carefully plucking his hand from her hair and bringing it to her lips. He held his breath when she kissed his palm.
āThank you for letting me stay.ā She murmured.
āYou donāt have to thank me. I donāt like it when you leave, anyway. I just end up missing you.ā
She smiled. āI miss you too.ā
Esme, using the hand she still held in hers, guided him to lay his arm over her. For just a second, he was frozen watching her press closer until their chests where touching and her knees bumped against his. Eventually he relaxed his arm, resting it against her back before playing with the strands of her hair he felt there.
He watched her eyes slip closed, the way, even i her sleep, she seemed to watch to be closer to him. After what he assumed was an inappropriate amount of time, he stopped watching her sleep and closed his own eyes.
