Hi, hi hi there!! dear people!
Today we are going to talk some about a one of the best films from McDowell: Figures in a Landscape (1970)
In this extraordinary film Malcolm who as Ansell, appears with the great actor Robert Shaw. This two are a fugitives who escaped from an unknown location, and run in a unknown foreign country chased by a helicopter.
This movie was filmed in Andalusia (Spain) probably between the provinces from Jaen, Granada and Almeria.
In the film represents they are in a foreign latin country from south america.
Well, i'm not going to talk more about the argument, beacuse it's a surprise and you have to see the film for know the final, dear friend, but I will continue in a secong part with another curiosities and information with this fantastic film.

Well, here it is a new scene from Time after time, a great hollywood film (the first for Malcolm in the USA). You know McDowell was met his second wife Mary Steenburgen here. The moustache is really real ;)

In this scene Caligula is dancing like a butterfly in a flower. Here Malcolm looks very funny and sensual.
And then the crowd who see this film fall hypnotized with this exotic dance and they say:
O my god, glorious, glorious Caligula caesar! And then, Malcolm becomes a Roman god in the film (and for the people in the set) jaja

This photo was taken during a test with Stanley kubrick before the filming of A clockwork orange. Here was born the real career for Malcolm. (Of course he was already famous in England with the movie If..., but definitely Kubrick led him to fame and the (damn) typecasting. Yes Malcolm, you're bigger and worth than all that typecasting! > :)
