the first ever queer kiss on croatian televison happening in the place i shed blood, sweat and tears while training swimming professionally as a young queer kid was NOT on my bingo for 2026 lemme tell you that.

i don't know why it feels so monumental, i knew they kiss in a pool in the og but to slowly figure out where exactly ivan was taking lovro after whisking him off from his own (kinda) birthday celebration, recognizing the basketball court and THEN hearing the water gurgling and seeing THE olympic pool in all its glory with those shitty starting blocks shook something in me up.

the little girl from back then coming up for air to see how far me and the state of the nation itself has come in the last 10 or so years and to watch the familiar scene unfold, but feel it so VISCERALLY right down to the bones healed something in me i think.

anyways thank you sram and thank you hrt for giving us this, you keep outdoing yourselves with every season (not that i doubted you ever since i've watched the first).

keep up the good work and know that this show aimed at teenagers has resonated with older audiences as well <3

now that it’s been a day and i’ve had time to watch the trailer and ‘inspect’ it properly, i’ve noticed that between the shots where it’s a close up of nora in the room and the shots of zoe and presumably her friends partying, there are i think 4 sequences of nora that might be from the season.

the first is nora walking somewhere and then on the phone with someone asking where they are:

the second with her in a different outfit (wearing the signature noora red lipstick) walking somewhere, and also something across the road catching her eye:

the next is her in an elevator with bags, and then in the same outfit on a balcony:

and the last was this really quick clip of nora dancing with what looks like a bandage on her right hand:

in the clips of her meeting with someone she doesn’t have a bandage on, but i think she does in the balcony one if you look close enough,,

any guesses about who she’s supposed to meet, or what happened to her hand??

it’s good that druck just said we are moving on with the new gen. i have no expectation to see any of the old characters except kiki from time to time. if i watch s5 i won’t keep looking for the old characters i love so i can be immersed into the new gen. because they are all brand new characters none of them will feel out of place. and it’s still a nice transition because we are going from og gen to new gen with the sister of kiki.
