This is @istadris and you are on my newest art account!

My current art account, @lantredudragon, is still active and doing fine, but I decided to make a new account to have more freedom since the first one was co-managed with someone else.

I'll post mostly traditional art, a lot of fanarts, some original, and in the beginning there's also be a lot of reblog from my other blog. I hope it doesn't get too confusing, but the old blog will remain up no matter what.

Fave Radiostatic tropes : the Shadow Knows

I really like the trope of Alastor's shadow reflecting his secret feelings, and I like even more when Alastor can't completely control it...to his great frustration and Vox's usual confusion.

I'm sure there are fanworks where Vox gets the shadow in the divorce :P

Fave Radiostatic Tropes : Enemies to Lovers

In the many fanfics I've read since getting into this ship, Alastor & Vox reaching the stage of being lovey-dovey and touchy-feely around each other while the rest of their allies goes "weren't you enemies last week ??" is always fun to see.

Especially when it pairs with Alastor & Vox having private conversations on their radio frequencies in front of everyone else.

(Number and order of plot points before reaching the Loving Static stage may vary)

This year's new addition to this series of postcard drawing for @calimera62 , with now the reaction of Vitalstatistix and Impedimenta.

Plot twist, Getafix was far from the first to notice the warning signs!

So first of all if you haven't read Tiger, Tiger by @pepurika , what are you waiting for?

Second of all, in one of the recent pages, someone commented that Remy and Jamis gave off Asterix and Obelix vibes...and of course I had to draw it. In their Black Gols outfits because they fit that scene the best.

I also suddenly gained a massive amount of respect for people designing (on purpose) (without being forced) (from their own whim) comic characters with striped outfits.

Or, what if Cacofonix *did* sing for Caesar during Asterix the Gladiator. I'm not sure Caesar would have enjoyed his "gift" much longer.

Initially I just wanted to make a quick sketch to go with this ask meme, but then it grew into its own thing.

The Big Fight series releases tomorrow and to commemorate the event, some Asterix-related sketches made in recent weeks :

I'm currently playing in a D&D campaign (actually several), one of them being Waterdeep : Dragon Heist.

It's very fun so far. We're going back and forth between arguing about pet policies in our tavern and getting caught in mafia wars. And waiting for the moment our ranger learns about the sex life of his mom.

Our bard @overwhelmed-queen got her hands on an OP poisonous gun. It's awesome. It's hilarious. It's also terrifying. Was that gruesome headshot really necessary, girl ?? Some people are losing their minds over your antics. And their heads. A good chunk of it, at the very least.

My work schedule has changed slightly since the end of summer. Unfortunately, that slight change leaves me even less time than before to write and draw. On top of that, I'm looking for lodging closer to my workplace, and it's taking me a lot of time and energy.

I don't have time to finish a piece each week like before, not unless I sacrifice personal time and force myself to rush things, both of which are a terrible idea.

I don't want to give up on drawing, writing and sharing either; not when I still have do many ideas, and have grown used to a regular posting schedule to keep me motivated.

So for now, I'll try a new schedule: from now on, I'll post something every two weeks.

So next drawing will be post on either Wednesday the 25th or Friday the 27th, and next writing will be posted on Sunday the 29th.

If I still can't maintain that rhythm of publication, I'll default to another one :

WIP on Wednesday each week

New fic/chapter once a month on a Sunday

New drawing once a month on a Friday or Saturday.

Hope you will be understanding ^^ believe me when I say I wish I could have the time to stick to the old schedule 8(

...well, that was optimistic of me.

One thing I want to stick to is regular posting on specific days of the week. For writing, I'll still post on Sundays on the weeks where I have time.

But for my art, I can't decide if I should post on Friday, Saturday or Sunday

Do you ever get terrified beyond words by something and yet you become obsessed with it?

The Distant Future chapter in Live a Live is both my fave and the one I refuse to play ever again. I'm easy to scare and the gameplay used every trick in the book to make me panic. Oh, you should have heard me yelling and frantically scrambling for a safe area everytime I heard it stomping around.

And yet I think the Behemoth is one of the coolest creatures of the games. I love how it looks. I love how utterly out of place this cloudy, almost etheral creature looks in the cold corridors of the ship. I love how despite the mortal threat it represents, it's ultimately a wild animal loose on humans while the *real* danger lies elsewhere...

Fun fact : during my game, I managed to not die a single time to the Behemoth, and between that and the scripted encounter where it carries Cube away yet does not kill it immediately, I like to headcanon that it's actually seeing Cube as a dog toy (or an egg) and wants to play with it :)

Unlike Pikachu, who live in social groups raising their young Pichu together, Raichu prefer a solitary lifestyle.

Raichu become agressive if they store too much electricity ; this doesn't mesh well with young Pichu, who can't control their electricity output and regularly zap other Pokemon on accident. To avoid conflict, a Pikachu exposed to a Thunder Stone will leave their birth group soon after evolving.

As they're bigger and stronger, Raichu can survive on their own, and they don't seem to miss their gregarious life too much. Nonetheless, it has been observed that Raichu encountering Pikachu or Pichu will rarely attack, and sometimes even join a new group if it's small enough and doesn't have many young Pokemon.

Remember my Flokédex ? It's a project I started back in 2018, in which I wanted to create my version of Pokedex entries in the format of a field journal.

It's been a long time since the last time I did an entry, but I still have many headcanons about Pokemon, and hope to share more of them.

An old drawing, but I still like it.

It's been eight years and this ship still has my soul in a vice grip. I want to see these two old men be toxic to each other in so many ways.
