when I was a kid my grandparents would take me to the nursing home in the summer and make me sing church music for people who were actively dying in hospice and now I can only say ‘see you soon’ in response to see you later because if i say see you later i am convinced they will die before I see them again. this is a normal behavior that normal neurotypical children develop normally.
