Eclectic Celebrations || Castiel, Dean, & Sam
Castiel thought for a moment about Dean’s question. He respected the gruff Hunter and knew him to be very knowledgeable and intensely loyal to the Winchesters. Castiel got cut off from Heaven at a bad time. Bobby Singer had performed an impressive act of devotion which landed him in a wheelchair without his connection to Heaven, he couldn’t heal the man. ”I was simply curious,” he said finally. ”This turn of events has caused a minor uproar. I have been attempting to discover more about the strange man in the blue box. He is not of this planet, but he has been here often.”
"Pretty sure," Dean replied, keeping his eyes on the road. It was practically Jo’s idea, it’d be criminal of her to not show up. Not that ‘criminal’ would stop her, in any given situation.
At Castiel’s reply, Dean made a noise of acknowledgement. Yeah, he could see how some kind of futuristic time god in a telephone box would cause a fuss. Not to mention the thing with Lucifer.
"Not from this planet, huh," Dean mumbled, tapping a finger on the wheel. After a minute of thought, he shot a glance to Sam. "Guess we’re dealing with real, bona fide aliens here. No tricks this time. That’s kind of a big deal." He smiled, but Dean couldn’t decide if he should be excited or terrified. Shouldn’t they be informing NASA about this kind of stuff? Or the FBI? Whoever you tell about first contact? Speaking of which…
"So," Dean teased with renewed enthusiasm, glancing between Castiel and Sam. "Who’s Mulder, and who’s Scully?"
Sam sighed, shaking his head. "Their tech definitely wasn't from here," he said. "It was unlike anything I've ever seen."
Accepting that the Doctor was an alien was the least insane thing that Sam had encountered this week - so, he was more than prepared to accept whatever was thrown their way. Regardless. He hoped that lasted. It seemed every time he decided nothing could surprise him, something surprised him. He didn't like this developing pattern.
Sam rolled his eyes so hard it almost gave him a headache. But, he went along with it. His brother was in a good mood - he didn't want to be the one to ruin that. "I think you're Mulder."
