Honestly this has to be the most suspenseful thing I've ever seen.

New manager

so far the names I've heard are babe kapler, tim wallach, ron roenicke, bud black, dave martinez who is joe maddons bench coach, alex cora? and dusty baker???

i don't really think freeman would seriously consider baker.

black and roenicke have the most manager experience but there record is unimpressive. 

cora would be odd because he has no prior experience even though he is considered bright

kapler doesn't have experience either but he is smart, already in the organization, and is very knowledgeable about saber metrics. 

Tim wallach has also been in the organization for a long time now. he was the guy the dodgers would have hired back in 2011 if mccourt and torre hadn't made a deal to make donnie the next manager. 

in my opinion Dave martinez is the best choice. he has been maddons bench coach in tampa and Chicago so he has learned from the best. and he worked with freedman in tampa bay so he's familiar with advanced stats.

top choice: martinez 

others good options: wallach and kapler 

bad choices: cora roenicke and black

disasterous choice that will never happen: baker 

of course their are probably other candidates who's names haven't come up yet

Seager or Rollins

Corey Seager has been amazing since being called up a couple weeks ago. When Jimmy Rollins comes back from injury the Dodgers will have to decide who will be there starting SS for the postseason. 

To me the decision seems obvious. The Dodgers should go with Seager. Yes he is only 21 and will have only played about 25 MLB games but he is hitting the ball much better than Rollins did. Seager is hitting .426/.526/.617 compared to Rollins .220/.279/.335. By offensive WAR he has already contributed 4 times more wins to the dodgers than rollins. 

However, many people including Don Mattingly have said Rollins should start. do there reasons make sense? 

many people believe that Rollins makes up his disadvantages on offensive by being a better fielder. I'm not so sure thats true. yes rollins is more sure handed than seager who has already made 3 errors but seager is younger and more athletic and can get to more balls. so far seager has more assists and putouts per game than rollins and defensive WAR shows him as a better fielder than rollins. 

while I'm not sure if seager is actually the better fielder it doesn't seem like he's that much worse than rollins that it nullifies his huge edge with the bat. 

the other reason I've heard is that rollins is a veteran and has been a clutch playoff performer. but while a much younger rollins was a star on 2 world series teams his playoff performance just doesn't live up to his reputation. in the 10 playoff series he has been in he has hit .300 just twice and hit below .230 6 times. just because he has been to many playoff series doesn't mean he will out perform seager. 

if seager slumps or looks overwhelmed in his first couple playoff games the dodgers can always turn to rollins but right now seager is the clear choice to be the starter
