So, list of ailments: urine burns, Sore Hocks, Ear Mites, Fleas, Fur Mats, and now that I’ve started treating her feet with Xenodine I’ve found a bite wound on her hind leg.

Setting a domesticated rabbit “Free” and expecting it to survive like a wild rabbit is like setting your chihuahua free and expecting it to hunt like a wolf.

We have a vet appointment on monday, fun fact Bunny safe flea medicine is hard to get, and Revolution needs a prescription. Also it’s $30 for a little bottle of ivermectin, the ear treatment, but I’m not trusting the go to alternative (drown them in olive oil) because her ears smell like something DIED. Hey, did you know ear infections in bunnies can enter the brain and kill them? Because they do.

Anyway, here she is limping around the yard, enjoying some free time since she’s been cooped up in her sick bed all day.

So Lily is either a girl, or a neutered boy, because she has no testicles, but her urine burns still have her vent so red and swollen I can’t be 100% positive if it’s an O or a l shape. Going with girl because a neutered bunny probably is less likely to be dumped.

My list of medications are:

Baytril, an antibiotic for her uti and infected leg wounds

Ivermectin, for her ear mites

Xenodine, for her urine burns and leg wounds

Revolution, for the fleas.

The Xenodine and Revolution need vet prescription, I have a bottle of xenodine on hand from previous rabbit injuries but it’s low so I’ll get another. However you can check my amazon list if anyone wants to donate an item, such as cornstarch dry shampoo, pet asprin, or food.
