Tori is going over some lines for her next movie she was doing that all day and thinking about what she wants to do next. âIâm just gonna take a break now what should i do?â she asked herself. @itneverrainsstartersâ Â
â I wanted to ask you about it, but I didnât want to pry. Maybe I made a mistake. â Felicity quiped, sliding off her stool with a gentle smile gracing her lips. Her hand made its way to the others shoulder, giving it a light squeeze in reassurance that she meant no harm.Â
Frankie sometimes liked to go to the bar for a quick drink before she went to meet her sister at the food court. She sat alone with her legs crossed and her notebook out, at this point she had been sitting here for a little over half an hour. Her sketch was nearly done when she heard the chair near her move. She had placed her jacket and purse down there to keep them off the floor. Quickly she looked over and smiled apologetically. âSorry about that,â she reached out to take them and turned to hang them on the back of her chair. âKind of got lost in my own head I guess.â She nodded as she tucked her blonde hair behind her ear. @itneverrainsstartersâ
âLook, my favorite nail place jacked their prices up a lot and, like, yeah I can afford it, but itâs the principle of it all. And they wonât give me any type of discount, even though Iâve been going there every month for the past three years. Youâd think thereâd be some kind of loyalty discount or something⊠whatever, my point is, the only way I can get a discount at all is if I did the coupleâs deal, and with the fit I put up about getting a discount, I canât just give up now. Do you wanna come get a manicure with me? Iâll pay, donât worry, and if youâre not too obnoxious during I can get you lunch afterwards too. What do you say?â @itneverrainsstartersâ
Destiny thought about what she wanted to do with her evening. After spending her day in brain storming meeting with her overly bubbly boss she kind of felt like her brain had turned into a complete pile of mush. Sure most people were probably gonna go party hopping from one spot to the next. But if Destiny was being honest parties exhausted her. She burred her lips as she looked beside her at the other person. âListen I know this is going to make me sound like a total dweeb but would you be down to go bowling with me? Something about throwing heavy balls down a greased up hallway sounds weirdly comforting to me.â @itneverrainsstartersâ
âYeah, I punched that guy.â Sutton tried her hardest to hide the smile that was trying to curl up on her lips, but it was obvious that she was proud of herself as she looked over at the injured man who was nursing his nose. âHe was whistling at me. Who the fuck does that anymore?â As she justified her actions, she took a sip of the iced coffee in her hand. âWho ever thought that was a good idea?âŠCould you do me a favor and act like you didnât see me punch him or that I admitted to it.â @itneverrainsstartersâ
The muffled sound of pounding bass was prevalent from outside the club. Another album was about to be released with Asherâs name attached to it and the success was projected to be one of the most memorable of year and he couldnât have been more excited to be apart of it. Music was like a drug to him, providing him a high like nothing else could. He stood outside the club, resting against the wall there. A cigarette hung from his lips as he looked up, a small euphoric smile supporting the filter. âWhat are you doing out here? You should be inside.â He said to the person beside him. @itneverrainsstartersâ
Fridays were Dominicâs busiest days.Â
Between classes at UCLA in the morning and then bartending a closing shift at night, there were only a few sweet hours in the day that allowed him actually enjoy the sights and sound of Los Angeles. Or breathe. The one thing that he needed to get through the day, was a nice, almost excessively large cup of coffee.
Dominic reached for the cup of coffee as soon as the barista set it down and made a beeline towards the door. He had a few hours to kill before the start of his shift and wanted to make the most out of them. However, as soon as he brought the cup to his lips, he was faced with the harsh reality that it wasnât his usual Americano, but rather one of the ungodly Peppermint Mocha monstrosities that seemed to take over as soon as October came to an end. Lifting the cup, he read the name on the side. âUh, you donât happen to drink these things, do you?â He asked the person next to him, hoping heâd found the culprit. âIâll buy you a new one. Or maybe something with actual coffee in it. I mean, itâs still November. Isnât it a bit early to be cranking out Christmas ⊠everything?â

âI was hoping that Anelia would want something a little less adult for her twelfth birthday, but instead she wants an iphone 11. I donât even have the iphone 11, so I donât know why she would think I would get her the newest phone when I donât even have it,â the Bulgarian woman rambled, knowing her English probably sounded bad. âI donât even know what to get her now.â @itneverrainsstartersâ
Xyla Villanueva had been dreaming of Friday night since last Friday night. Her week had been filled with endless emails, meetings and conference calls. While this was not  unusual given her position within the company, this week had been especially draining and dragged on seemingly forever. Now that it was 6 pm and she actually had time to herself, she found herself in the bar across from the office, which was beginning to fill up with other tired individuals, waiting for her friend to arrive. Scanning the bar, Xy spotted two seats up at the bar and settled in. She quietly flagged down the bartender and ordered her go-to drink, a double paloma, and pulled out of her phone. However, just as she was about to shoot off a rather annoyed âwhere are you?â text, she felt a tap on her shoulder.
âListen, itâs one thing to be fashionably late, but when you donât even get dressed up for the evening thatâs just insulting,â she chided, before turning to face them. âIâm already drinking so you better catch up.â

Karla sat across from the other eating her cheese fries. She had gotten out of the diner early but decided to stick around to get some food for herself. âYou sure you donât want any? Because if not I will probably end up eating them all by myself and Iâm not entirely sure how good of a look that is for me. Especially since Iâm considering getting another order.â @itneverrainsstartersâ
Hodaya was at Ralphâs, trying to decide which carb to serve with Shabbat dinner Friday night. There was brown rice, white rice, rice noodles, udon, lo mein noodles, chow mein noodles⊠It was hard for Hodaya to decide. She turned to the person next to her, âHey, Iâm making vegetarian stir fry for dinner Friday night. Should I serve noodles or rice as my carb?â  @itneverrainsstartersâ
Charlie sat at the small, wooden table in the coffee shop and sipped on her caramel mocha frappuccino. She studied her surroundings, taking in every detail. The ceiling fans didnât have lights on them like she was used to, they were just fans. The shop depended on the copious amount of fairy lights, and the daylight beaming in through the large windows, to brighten up the place. âNot going to lie, it works,â she thought to herself. The lighting wasnât too dark or too bright, it was comfortable. Charlie liked that. After occupying a little too much of her time by studying the lights in the shop, Charlie noticed that there was a stranger sitting at the table right next to hers. They looked a little lonely, and Charlie hated the thought of anybody feeling alone. Charlie spoke softly, âMy name is Charlie. Whatâs your name?â

âSince moving here I simply havenât taken enough advantage of the beach. I mean, look at it.â The man turned around to face the beautiful coastline behind him. The crashing waves against the shore beckoned out to the two though they remained many feet away. âWhat do you say we enjoy what Topanga has to offer? I even brought my snorkel.â The goof teased, lowering his goggles from his perfectly gelled hair over his eyes as a challenge. @itneverrainsstartersâ
As soon as as Erik woke up that morning, he knew it was gonna be one of those days. His energy feels low and so does his mood, this thoughts drifting over to the urge to spend his money on whatever alcoholic beverage he can get his hands on.
However, he's refraining, just for the sake that he has enough restraint to not go into work later in the evening drunk or hungover. Again.
Instead, he takes a walk, boredly flipping through some unread messages on his phone. A few from this one girl that couldn't take a hint that's he's not looking for commitment. At least, commitment with her of all people. One from his Nana, asking about his day. A few more flirty or angry messages from people he either blew off or is still messing around with. All of these messages went unreplied. He couldn't think of a single thing to say to them and didn't have any motivation to try to make any responses.
He kept walking and barely paying attention, his gaze either dryly on his phone or flickering anxiously around him as though he's only taking in enough to make sure he knows where he's going but barely registering the people at all. When he felt his shoulder bump into someone else's, he frowns and looks over at the person. "Can't you be more careful?" He asks, despite he own hypocrisy that he refuses to reflect on.

Maybe Valerie wasnât having the best of mornings. Her phone charger shorted out while she was asleep so instead of charging her phone, the battery drained, so she missed her alarm. Sheâs actually off at the moment, but she wanted to beat the breakfast rush to her favorite cafĂ©, but she got there too late and missed the breakfast foods completely. Her hopes for a croissant was shattered when she saw the near empty case.
Then, after she dejectedly leaves with only a cup of peach green tea to soothe her sorrows, she went to the park to at least get some sun to hopefully flip her some serotonin on. But while she was distracted by a funny looking cloud, some entitled old woman had let her little poodle piss on Valerieâs shoe, causing her to shoot up as soon as she felt the uncomfortably warm and foul urine hit her ankle, the slightly chilly autumn breeze making it feel even worse. She definitely exchanged some choice words and had to stomp off in a huff when the old woman began to poorly feign having dementia.
The straw that broke the camelâs back? She got hungry and found a vending machine with a chocolate dipped granola bar outside of a store. She put her money in the machine and eagerly watched as it as the little circle turned to release her snack, only for the machine to sputter and turn off before it could drop. âAre you fucking serious?!â She snaps and in a fit of anger, she kicks the machine, not caring who was watching her.
