Fucking Weir at the Olympics

So, I’m watching figure skating cause I’m super big into it. And Johnny Weir is one of the commentators. So this Kazakhi skater goes out. And everyone knows she isnt going to place. Its a fact. We know it, she knows it. But she goes on that ice, at her first olympics, with the knowledge her program isn’t gonna win anything, and she SKATES HER FUCKING HEART OUT. SHE SCORES HERSELF A SEASONS BEST.

And do you know what Johnny Weir and the other commentators do? They spend the next few minutes making fun of her outfit and score, ridiculing the TRADITIONAL HEADPIECE of her country, that she wore with pride.

I don’t know about you, but those are the skaters I admire most at the olympics. Because its easy to go out there and skate your best for everyone when your in medal contention. Its HARD when you know your routine won’t even break the top 12 at a perfect score.

Thses are just my thoughts, but that seems like a pretty shitty thing to do dosent it?
