He opened his mouth to speak, but honestly had no idea what to say. On the one hand he did regret getting involved with her because their ending hurt so badly, but on the other, he truly did have fond memories of the woman in his arms. Not a stupid man, Nate opted for the latter. “Of course I don’t regret getting with you. I just regret how things ended,” he admitted, knowing that was not only the truth, but likely what she wanted to hear. “As for the rest?” He drawled as his hands once against roamed her back and ass, “I can definitely see the improvements. I mean,” he grinned cheekily and clarified in hopes of not getting hit, “not that you weren’t hot before, but fuck, now you’re smoking. ”Then, with a shake of his head, he dipped his head and nipped her earlobe, “Despite what you may think, I really have missed you, and,” he lowered his lips to the crook of her neck (not the easiest feat given the height difference) and hummed, “how your body feels against mine. Still a perfect fit.” Deciding the hell with it, Nathan lifted his head, brought his hands to cradle her face and as his lips hovered inches from hers, whispered, “So, are you here with anyone?” He closed the minuscule gap and brushed his mouth against hers, “Because if not, how about you come home with me.”
The dark-haired girl wished herself and Nathan could redo the end of their relationship with each other. The cage dancer was broken after her relationship with Nate. The two of them were young and in love, and having all that, and then feeling it all being swiped away from her caught Destiny off guard. She wasn’t ready for her relationship to come crashing down right before her eyes. That’s what hurt the most. Having something to nothing in a couple of seconds after a few parting words. Destiny blamed him, but she was obviously the other side of the problem. She got selfish and wanted him around all the time. She seeked for attention, and craved it off him when the two of them dated. Her stubbornness and persistence could across as annoying and she knew that. She looked up at the doctor and shook her head at his compliments. If this was any other night, and he hadn’t pulled her in for a dance, and an actual conversation with him she would have shoved him and told him to back off and not play with her feelings. However, it felt like a scene from a romance film. A dance. An actual conversation without others getting involved. Her own reaction’s were surprising herself. She closed her eyes for a single second as he nipped at her earlobe. She was glad she was in heels tonight. Destiny was little, but with heels she could look at him better. She wasn’t good at reading body language but he sounded truthful and honest. He heart quickened a little as he cradled her face. Her eyes not leaving his face. “I came here with someone, but not a date. A best friend of mine,” she confessed. The dark-haired girl felt the other’s lips brush against her own and her heart hammered against her chest. This was wrong and right all at the same time. She didn’t want to cave into him and his ways, but she still had some feelings towards him. It could have been lust and not love - however she was unsure. She curled her fingers around his bow-tie and pulled him down a little more. She always had been a little bit of a control freak. “I might just do that,” she answered. Her hand held his neck, pulling him down to kiss him gently, before grabbing his face either side with her hand. “Don’t judge me for wanting to go with you..” She warned. “It’s hard saying no to you. Even now.”
