You really can’t win for losing. Either you’re too confident and you’re cocky or you’re not showing positivity for yourself which hurts you with your fanbase too. I mean, you can’t make everybody happy, that’s a given.
Exactly. That’s why I keep to myself a lot because I feel like no matter what, someone is unhappy and it’s just not worth getting into unnecessary drama or trouble.

It’s a really thin line between being proud of yourself and confident in your skills and also being vain and thinking you’re the best thing since sliced bread? I can never manage that line so I always end up self deprecating which isn’t great.
Yeah, I agree. I do too and I think if we were to go the other way then we would definitely be called cocky or having a big ego or something like that. Life in this industry and society is tough.

Do you think there’s an actor out there who genuinely enjoys watching their performances? I’d love to meet them and pick their brain. It’s weird because I’m so proud of my cast mates when watching their scenes and then go, ‘Ugh, ahh, eugh!’ when I see myself. Like, what’s up with that?
That would be interesting, right? It does seem that everyone hates seeing themselves on screen so I wonder if anyone actually enjoys it. But we shouldn’t be so negative towards ourselves though it just seems like it’s second nature which is sad.

Oh I know. You’re right, too much time together and we’ll really get on each other’s nerves. So I think whenever we have projects to work on, it will be good for us to have our alone time. Plus we know how to handle long distance. Like pros.

In the midst of the chaotic world going on around us, I decided to step back a little from my social justice warrioring and put some Riverdale on Netflix. Wow, what fetuses were we! Watching the early episodes is both amusing and cringe-worthy. Betty’s ponytail is so tight that I can see my hairline receding and I look like an actual child in the pilot episode. We’re all so green and eager and just..fetus-faced. I’m happy to say I think we all progressed beautifully in both our personal appearances and our acting chops. Do you ever watch old shows/movies you were in just to get a trip down memory lane? Do you find it as cringe as I do? @hwoodescapestart
This is exactly why I don’t watch old Flash episodes. I definitely look like a baby and I don’t need to see that. I also find watching myself act incredibly awkward but I also try to watch the scenes that my cast mates are in so it’s a struggle. I have to close my eyes when I’m on screen.
