I think having sometime for just the two of us was long overdue, nevermind a honeymoon. We can just focus on each other, just you and me, for as long as we can. You’ll always be important to me too, no one else will be as important as you.

For sure. I’m always looking for time to spend with just you. We definitely need it and I’m glad we’re getting to have it.

lukashems:

Who’d have thought getting everything I’ve ever wanted would be so messy? Just me and you. That’s nice. I like that. This is gonna be the best trip ever. I mean, it’s technically our honeymoon, right? You’re very important to me. You’re the most important person to me. I love you too.

It is gonna be like our honeymoon and it is long overdue. I can’t wait to just focus on you, my love. And you are the most important person in the world to me and you always, always will be.

Yeah, that’s how I feel too. I just… sometimes I get tired of it all, you know? Like the fame, being in the spotlight. But I just have to remember that I have you. You’re kind of what keeps me grounded in this hectic life. I know you don’t feel like it sometimes but you’re really important. To me. To the band. I probably wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for you.

Believe me babe, I get it. I wish that we could just turn it off every once and a while. That’s what we’re gonna do on this trip. We’re gonna just be me and you and we’re gonna enjoy nothing but each other for as long as we need it. It means everything to me to be important to you. That’s all I really want to be. I love you so much, baby.

Oh, okay. I guess you’re right. We don’t have to give anything up. Everything’s perfect the way it is. I was stupid for even suggesting that.

You’re never stupid, Luke. It wasn’t a dumb thing to suggest, babe. There are definitely times where I consider just being done and living a normal life again. A life with you. But, then I remember how amazing it feels to get up on stage and rock out and I also remember how that’s only as good as it is because you’re standing in front of me doing the same thing.

It is… I mean, I know it sounds bad coming from me cause music is all I want to do but… but I’d give it up for you.

I’d give music up for you too, babe. I don’t think we have to, though. I think that we should still get to do exactly what it is we love to do and us being in the same band makes us even luckier. I get to live my absolute dream with my other dream by my side. We kind of have it made....

I, um… I’m sorry, that was probably stupid to suggest. Forget I even said anything.

[He looks down at him and smiles softly, squeezing his hand back.] You know… we don’t have to go back. This could be it. We could just quit and be happy together.

[He leans into his touch before he kisses him again, his hand searching for his and he takes it, lacing their fingers together.]

[He squeezes his hand once their fingers are intertwines and after he kisses him, he lays his head down on his shoulder.]

lukashems:

Great. I’m looking forward to being with you for the next nine hundred lives. [He smirks, leaning over to kiss him.]

[He kisses him back, running his fingers through his hair gently] Sounds like a plan to me, babe.

lukashems:

You already promised me that when you married me. And hey, if you want to promise me more than just this life, then do it, okay? I may bitch a lot but it’s nice knowing you’d want to be with every version of me.

[He nods softly, smiling over at him] Yeah. Okay, I will. I love you Luke Robert and I want every version of you in this life and the next nine hundred lives. Forever and always.

lukashems:

It’s okay. You didn’t mean to do it. I still love you. I’ll always love you no matter what.

I love you, too. Will love you forever and ever. I promise.

I don’t exactly mean to overthink it. I’m just used to feeling like the reason why you’re upset or whatever. It’s a hard habit to break out of.

I’m really sorry if I ever made you feel that way.

lukashems:

It’s not my fault that I’m used to always upsetting you or pissing you off, is it?

You don’t upset me or piss me off as much as you think you do, though. You overthink it, babe.

Are you seriously getting pissed at me right now? Oh my god, Ash. I’m sorry I stated my opinion, I won’t do it again.

I’m not pissed. Not even a little bit. I don’t know why you always think I’m pissed.

lukashems:

I’m not being a poop. I’m just stating a fact. But you can promise me every lifetime if you want, I don’t care.

Yeeeah, you’re kinda being a poop but whatever. I’m not gonna promise you every lifetime if it doesn’t mean anything to you.
