Singing || Karissa&Max
For a while, the dancing felt a little ridiculous. As though there was no game here other than fulfilling her clear desire to be near him. But her humming helped. It helped a lot. The soft melody gave Max something to think about while they danced together, an act which was rather mindless on his end. He took a deep breath, inhaling Karissa’s natural perfume. Her hair still had the soft fruity scent left over from her last shower or bath, but Max could smell through it. If he was addicted to his diet, he would have been salivating. Perhaps he was, and he just refused to admit it. He’d been at the hospital for two weeks now, and had barely eaten in that time. Max was able to convince himself that the increased desire for flesh had more to do with the general hunger from being here. So trapped in the pushing down of his own desires, Max almost missed her reply. “Come on, it’s not obvious?” Max laughed softly. “You’re kind, generous.. very talented.” He shrugged. ”I honestly can’t come up with something bad to say.” Lie. “And that’s very unusual for me.”
Karissa loved the fact that Max was in here dancing with her. She had always wanted someone to listen to her songs, call her pretty, dance with her.. And here he is. Although it's a pretty gloomy place to meet a person like that, she was still quite happy about finding him. He smelled good, too. It smelled like he used some sort of manly shampoo, it smelled like the shampoo her dad used to use. He face fell at the thought of her dad. She truly hated him now. She felt bad for being able to say that truthfully, but she did. She quickly recovered from that, gluing the smile back on her face. "You're a magnificent liar." She said, shaking her head. She continued to stare up at him, swaying back and forth to her humming.
