This was so amazing! Instead of telling her she’s being stupid or weird or is too young to understand actual struggles, shit that so many of us hear when we try to speak up, they’re actually listening to her and trying to understand her emotions and experiences. This what conversations with parents should look like. This is what will help kids feel comfortable and supported. Truly inspiring.
