AnthrOhio 2017 Columbus Fursuit Walk Schedule

AnthrOhio 2017 Event Submissions

Welcome to the AnthrOhio 2017 Event Submission Form! If you are interested in hosting or scheduling an event at AnthrOhio, please fill out all of the information below and we will do out best to include your event/panel into our schedule.

2017 Registration Online

Registration is now online for both attendees and dealers! Read on for information on registration and hotel reservations.

–Registration Online– Come one, come all, Furries of Today and Furries of Tomorrow! Registration for AnthrOhio 2017 is now online and operational. Register for the whole weekend at four different levels from Basic to PhilAnthropist. Or register for a Day Pass to get all your Tomorrow in one day! All levels of registration provide access to our Hospitality Suite and each level above basic comes with additional bonuses from convention art prints to personalized items for our PhilAnthropists. Register before 11:59 PM Eastern time on April 23 to receive our pre-reg discount!

If you volunteered for us during AnthrOhio 2016, you should have received an email containing a registration token. Please be sure to follow the instructions in that email when registering to ensure the application of your discount. If you have not received an email from us and volunteered for the 2016 convention, please contact [email protected].

–Hotel Reservations and Group Code– This year the convention will once more gather at the Holiday Inn Columbus-Worthington. We have a special, guaranteed, low price for staying at the hotel and all you have to do to receive it is use the Group Code ANT. So, when you are making your hotel reservation, make sure to put ANT in the Group Code box to get the the convention rate! Or even easier, click on the following link and the website will add the code for you once you select your dates of travel:

Remember, the convention is May 25-28! The code is viable for reservations on Thursday night through Monday morning.

–Dealer Applications Online– The AnthrOhio Dealers Den is now accepting applications from dealers looking to participate at our 2017 convention. The application can be accessed through the Registration page on our website, or simply by following the link below. Some Exciting News

Happy New Year to all of our fuzzy friends! A few months ago I alluded to an upcoming announcement. Today I’d like to share with you something that’s been in the works for a few months now. It’s a Furry Thing! has been hosting the monthly fursuit walk for some time now, but that is about to change going forward. Don’t fear though, our walks will continue just as you are used to them. Today I am pleased to announce our monthly fursuit walk will now hosted by the fantastic staff of Columbus’s own anthropomorphics convention, AnthrOhio! It is with great excitement that I share this with you. I will still be leading the majority of the walks going forward, but we can expect to see some new faces as the staff of the convention join us to help make our future walks the best they can be. Going forward I will be working with AnthrOhio to formalize rules of conduct and other important details to make sure our walks as safe and as fun for our attendees as possible. In addition, we would like to announce that the first ever AnthrOhio Fursuit Walk will be held Saturday March 4, 2017. We will be meeting at the North Market at 5pm. Grab yourself some food and join us in the upstairs dining area, just look for the group of tables near the exterior stairs. Once everybody has eaten we will head over to the 5th floor of the Vine St Garage where those who are suiting up for the walk can change. Directions and full details will all be available in the event page when it goes live.
