When you first presented as a beta, you enjoyed it. You quite enjoyed being a beta. You didnโt have to deal with the heat or ruts. You were able to act as a bridge between the omegas and the alphas in your groups.ย
The fans had always wondered what you were, and well, you were a mischievous little cat-loving chaos maker, so you decided to play into what everyone was wondering. Were you an alpha, beta or omega? You decided the best idea was to confuse everyone. The boys all knew you were a beta, but your little confusion game sometimes confused them as well.ย
One moment that confused everyone was during a 2 Kids Room episode. It was with you and Felix, one of the packโs omegas. You knew why they wanted to showcase your relationship with the youngest Aussie. The two of you had a fun dynamic. It was very โMama Catโ and โBaby Boy Kittenโ vibes.ย
Did you mother him? Sometimes, yeah, but you didnโt overdo it. It was a relationship that Felix enjoyed. Throw Minho into the mix, and the three of you were โthe cat familyโ.
Felix held a pillow close to his chest. โI love being an omega, but sometimes itโs so hard, like with my heat. Sometimes it can be so horrible.โ
You nodded your head. Your hair bounced slightly as you did so. โI completely understand, Bbokie.โ You scooted closer to him and placed a hand on his knee, rubbing it gently.
You knew he wasn't meant to be talking about his sub-gender, but clearly, he had forgotten, and you weren't about to stop the conversation if this was something he needed to talk about.
Felixโs eyes went wide as he looked up at you. โReally? You do?โ He asked in awe.ย
You smiled. โLook, the best thing to do, first of all, is to make sure your nest is exactly how you want it to be. Iโm not afraid to ask the others if I need their scent near me. It can be in a nest, or in a bag, or something to take whilst I'm travelling alone. You need to have your packs scent in your nest if thatโs what you want.โ
Felix nodded, his eyes locked onto you as you soon, clearly, took in every word. โI do sometimes get nervous about asking for stuff.โย
You shook your head fondly at him. โDonโt be. You have to let your instincts take over, Kitten. Like, when you need cuddles. Youโve never been afraid to let that instinct take over, and we all love you for it.โ You told him as you grabbed his waist.
You pulled the blonde closer to you, letting him snuggle into your side. His head lay on your shoulder as you stroked his hair. Felix let out tiny purrs as he relaxed into you. His now abandoned pillow lay behind him on the spot where he was once sitting.ย
Felix smiled as he snuggled into you. โSo anyother wise words?โ He asked curiously.ย ย
You nodded. โWell, youโre still new to being an omega. So itโll take some time to know exactly what will help you. You always seem to run really hot, so a cold compress, a cold bath or shower can help a lot. And youโve gotta let us meal prep for you, Kitten. And not just sweets. But we can make brownies and cookies and stuff, since your sweet tooth seems to intensify during your heat.โ You explained as you stroked his hair.
You thought for a moment. โAnd aftercare is really vital, Bbokie. So, make sure to let whoever is with you help you. And make sure whoever is in your room with you is there because you want them there. Okay? It's important not to go straight to work after a heat. You have to let your body rest.โ
Felix blushed and nuzzled close to you. โDonโt worry, Bbokie. I get an insane sweet tooth, too.โย
He looked up at you with bright, innocent eyes. โYou do?โ He asked curiously.
You let out a small hum. โYeah, how about we bake for your next one? so you always have a sweet treat nearby. Just stick with me, and Iโll help you in any way I can.โย
Felix clung to you, melting into your warmth. โMama Cat knows best.โย
You nodded proudly. โThatโs right, baby. Mother knows best.โย
That was the confirmation Stay needed, right? Youโre an Omega. Maybe even the pack's head Omega?ย
You had done so well that you had even confused poor Felix. He had spent the rest of the day by your side, getting more tips on being an omega. Only for Minho to burst his bubble behind closed doors.
โYongbokie, you remember sheโs a beta, right? Sheโs not an Omega.โย
Felixโs eyes went wide. โAre- are you sure? She gave me such good advice.โย
Minho nodded his head. โYeah. I know what my mate is. Sheโs just really good at making people believe her. And of course, she knows so much about omegas. She learned so she could take care of you, Omegas. She knows about Alphas, too, to help with ruts. Plus, she looks for those hacks to life videos all the time.โ He decided not to mention that you also knew all that because your parents had forced you to do omega lessons.
Felix blinked like he couldnโt believe what Minho was telling him. โButโฆ Mother knows best.โย
Minho let out a small chuckle. โKeep telling her that, and sheโll give you a cookie.โ He shook his head and left the room to find you.
Felix blinked. It was okay, you were a beta, but honestly, you gave some really good advice. So he was planning to continue following your advice.
It was during a SKZ Talker that you confused people again. You were in the green room with Chan and Binnie, the duo, who, for whatever reason, were having a growling contest.ย
Now, whilst you werenโt an Alpha and couldnโt growl the way they do. You could technically still growl. You had taught yourself how to let out a good growl.ย
You scrolled on your phone as you let out a growl. It was weaker than theirs and not as captivating, but it did its job. It got their attention on you.
Chanbin blinked. โThat was adorable. You need to put more chest into it. Your growling from your throat, and thatโs not always the healthiest way to do it, especially when you need your pack's attention.โ
Chan nodded encouragingly. โHeโs right. All Alphas find their growl differently. Keep trying, and youโll get it.โย
You grinned up at that. They had completely forgotten you were a Beta, thinking you were an Alpha. You stood up and put your phone in your pocket. You patted them both on the chest.ย
โThank you, Channie-Oppa. Thank you, Binnie-Oppa. I was so worried that Iโd never find my growl. You gave me my confidence back.โ You let out a happy giggle before leaving the room.
The camera focused on the two Alphaโs soft, happy faces. Glad they could help you.
Then came Minhoโs voice. โYou two are way too easy to fool.โย
That left both males confused until it clicked in their minds. Youโre not an Alpha.
Then came the day you admitted you were a beta. It was during a live. You and Hyunjin had been drawing together. Now, at this point, the company had allowed you all to tell people what your sub-gender was. So some of the members had already said theirs. Like how Felix let his slip during the 2Kids room, or how Seungmin had said his the moment he could. Or like how Jeongin was keeping that he was an omega to himself for now, not feeling the need to scream it from the rooftops.ย
You noticed a comment asking about your subgender.ย
โMe? Iโm a beta.โ You said with a warm smile.
Hyunjin looked at you in confusion. โYou are?โ He asked.
You scoffed and flicked his forehead. โYah! Pabo! Of course I am. Remember? You presented, and you got excited about getting to be the pack's second beta. I helped you through it all? You said it was fate that the two of us presented as betas. Like months apart.โ
Hyunjin immediately got a look of realisation on his face. โOh yeah. I completely forgot about that. Youโre such a good beta. Always so helpful.โ He smiled brightly.ย
โYouโre so lucky youโre cute.โ You told him with a shake of your head in disappointment.
Hyunjin grinned at you. โYou think Iโm cute?โ He placed a hand over his heart. โDolly!โย
You leaned away from him. โOh, good gosh! I take it back.โ
Hyunjin wrapped his arms around you and pulled you into a hug. โYou canโt! The world has already seen your love for me. You canโt take that back now.โย
You melted in his arms but still wiggled around. โMinho! Save me!โ You called out, hoping that he was home and that he would save you.
Hyunjin just grinned and nuzzled close to you. He smiled hearing you giggle, which set off his own giggles.ย

Chan had invited you to join him for a Channieโs Room live. You were excited as he was planning to react to the solo song you released on the SKZ-Replay album. It was a very bubbly beat, but the words cut deep. It was a way to show how, on the outside, things could look happy, but on the inside, a person could be fighting a storm. It was a look at how you felt and what you thought when you lived under your parents' roof.
Chan turned to look at you. You were perfectly comfortable on your chair, sunk into it, cuddled up in a hoodie that didnโt belong to you but still somehow in pastel purple, all curled up.ย
โYouโre a cat. I swear you are. How do you get so comfortable no matter where you sit or lie down?โ He asked you curiously.ย
You grinned up at him. โIโll show you. Get up.โ You said as you stood up and stretched.ย
Chan did as he was told and let you guide him to the settee, where he lay down. You grabbed the blanket you had brought with you. It was black. To match the โaestheticโ.ย
You cocooned the blanket around Chan and pushed him lightly on the couch. You made sure he was cosy and warm. โAre you comfy?โ You asked him as you basically turned him into a blanket burrito.ย
Chan blinked up at you. โYeah, actually, Iโm really comfy.โ He was warm, but not too warm. He felt cosy and maybe a little sleepy.
You nodded happily and walked back to your chair. You sat down and clicked on the song Chan was going to play. โThis is the right song, right?โ You asked him curiously.ย
Chan smiled at you. โYeah, it is.โ
You both listened to the song. It was soft, sweet and slow, but not super slow. You hummed along to it and read some of Stayโs comments in the live. By the time the song had ended, Chan was fast asleep.ย
You couldnโt help but grin. Serves him right, he needed some sleep. You played with the sleeve on the hoodie and grinned at the screen. โLetโs play on the Sims. I have a new build I want to show you all.โย
You saved Chanโs work and logged out of his work stuff. You sorted everything out, so the game came up, and you were showing what was on your screen. You played some music and made comments about certain parts of certain songs. It didnโt go unnoticed how you praised Minho anytime you heard his voice during a song.ย
You made sure to keep your voice at a comfortable level so that Stay could hear you and so that Chan could sleep. You did take a picture of Chanโs sleeping form in his cocoon, snoring and sent it to the group chat.ย

Darling was so sweet and gentle but also stern with her alphas. It made me giggle when Chan and Minho SHOT apart and it was just for her to give them an order to get stuff for their Kit
That's another lil detail I really liked. All the pet names for IN and IN (secretly, not so secretely) loving the hell out of it. The fact that he needs skinship during his pre heat is so valid!!
But seriously Darling seems like a great pack member and beta and perfect for the job! Doesn't get thrown off with scents because she's a Beta so can keep a level head and make sure her Omegas and Alphas have what they need.
I saw someone in the comments also wanting to see her take care of an Alpha during a preheat. I'd love to tag onto that. Darling AND Seungmin helping one of their Alpha's. Now as for who..my particular fancy would be Chan. Force that man to RELAX and let them handle the pack for a bit while he overheats xD.
Second preference might be Hyunjin(I think he'd be a whiner about taking rest too and very needy). Third Changbin(I feel like he'd be calmer, less tantrum-y, so fun shift from this one), then maybe Minho(stubborn stubborn stubborn!!)?

I'm so happy you loved the story. I had so much fun writing it, so thank you for requesting it.
I really enjoy getting to show Darling's softer side. Because her soft side looks so different depending on who she's talking to.
The Chan and Minho bit just kind of spawned it. I didn't even think whilst writing it, and once I had, I was like Alpha Chan x Omega Minho? I like this pairing. Allow me to believe they're together in the au. So yeah. I think canonically Chan and Minho are together in Darling's (Beta) aus. I'm happy about it. And the fact that she interrupted their cuddle time, just to boss them around, is so fun and so her.
Seeing how she switched from being soft and understanding to bossy and full of attitude was so fun to write.
Giving Jeongin all those nicknames just felt right. And when it comes to skinship, I thought it made sense. Like, Jeongin would be more vulnerable during his pre-heat, so having him find comfort in being held was something important. I see pre-heats as being a little similar in symptoms to periods, and idk about others, but cuddling can help.
Ooo fun addition. Adding Seungmin to the dynamic of helping Darling look after Alpha Chan during his pre-rut could be a lot of fun. I feel like Darling would be so sassy. Those two would 100% cuff him to the bed if it means letting him relax as much as possible during his pre-heat.
I do like your suggestions. Personally, when it comes to this au, I think I'll keep Minho as an Omega. I do like the idea of whiny Alpha Hyunjin, though. Ooooo, I may have to do a coin flip, but we'll see.

I'm sorry about that. I could maybe write something in their Masterlists to say what each girl is. When it comes to the members, it does tend to change, depending on the girl's subgender and what I want from the story.
For example, for Hun, she's an Alpha, but we've seen Chan be both an alpha and an omega in her aus. For Sweetheart, I want to work on her Alpha story, which is the main sub-gender I see her as. But she does have an omega story out already. So, for her, when she's an alpha, Felix is an omega. When she's an omega, Felix is an alpha.
My omega girls, or at least the ones I mainly see as omegas, are Honey and Love. Omega is an option for Princess, Doll, and Sweetheart, but it depends on the story I wanna tell.
On to your request. I like the idea. I'll pop it on my list and decide on which girl I wanna do this for. But I can see it. It would be nice to have one of the boys be jealous that their girl is being comforted by someone else. I think I can do a fun possessive and pouty partner.

You loved being a beta in the group. You and Seungmin were the only Betas in the group. Both of you like to tease the group and boast about not having to have heats or ruts. Youโd tease them for giving into their instincts. But, you were also good at acting as a peacemaker and settling arguments, helping the Alphas to clear their minds and comforting the Omegas.ย
You also tended to take charge when an omega or alpha was approaching their heat. Sure, Chan, Minho and Seungmin were always there to help with prep for the others, but you took charge in that aspect. It was something Chan and Minho were proud of you for doing.
It made sense for the pack's Alpha and head Omega to play a big role in helping everyone. But seeing the way you took charge, knowing everyone's preferences, and keeping track of heats and ruts was touching.ย

Summary: You and Felix share the story of how you became best friends.
The question of how you and Felix became friends was a question that all the members had wondered. They knew the two of you were best friends who argued like siblings but flirted like lovers. You teased each other like it was your sole purpose in life, and yet you both were always ready to stick up for the other, no matter the situation. You and Felix were each otherโs ride or die, and everyone knew it.ย
You were all sitting in the living room of the dorm that the nine of you shared. You and Felix were playing twenty-one whilst Hyunjin watched between you both, trying to decide who he was rooting for. The answer was Felix, but he wouldnโt say that in front of you.
Chan was acting as the dealer since you and Felix didnโt trust each other enough not to cheat. Minho ordered on his phone, and Changbin was ordering drinks. Han hovered over Felixโs shoulder, making faces depending on whether he had a good hand or not. Jeongin sat beside you, learning the game pretty quickly as Seungmin kept score of who was winning. You, Felix or Chan.ย
โFucking cunt.โ Felix huffed as he threw his cards on the table. โYou cheated!โ He pointed an accusatory finger at you.
You smirked in victory, having won again. โHow? Channie-Oppa has the cards.โ You stated, gesturing to the older male. โGo cry about it, baby.โ You grinned smugly at Felix.ย
Hyunjin blinked. โHow did you two even become friends?โ He asked curiously from his spot on the couch, he was lying on it like a model waiting to be photographed.ย
You and Felix shared a look before looking at the group.ย
Jeongin shifted beside you, leaning his chin on your shoulder. โYeah, Iโm curious about that as well.โย
Oh, you did your best not to react. Your crush was leaning ON YOU! Felix smirked at you when he saw the look in your eyes. Because yes, he was the first person you told when you realised you were crushing hard on Yang Jeongin.ย
Felix shook his head. โWellโฆI saved her, and she decided to punish me for it for the rest of my life.โ He shrugged casually.
Minho sat up in his seat and frowned. โAre you just not going to expand on that?โ He was curious about what had happened.
You let out a small hum. โYou tell them. You tell it better anyway.โ You waved towards the blonde.
Felix immediately beamed with excitement. โRight, well hereโs how it happened-โ
Felix had been full of energy when his mum took him to the park. It was a nice mother-son bonding day. They had gone for a nice walk, gotten ice cream and fed the ducks. And now, he was getting to play in the park!ย
He immediately ran towards the slide, letting go of his motherโs hand. โStay where I can see you!โ She called out to him.ย
Felix didnโt look back as he called back to her. โOkay, Mummy!โ His mother sat on a bench beside another woman, probably starting a conversation about mom stuff; he was too focused on the slide to care. Felix climbed the steps to get to the slide.ย
Oh, he was so high up. He scanned the park, feeling like the king of the slide. He looked over at the swings to see a little girl, maybe around his age. Maybe a little younger.ย
The first thing Felix remembered about you was the orange dungarees you wore that day and how your pigtails were so uneven from playing and pulling at them.ย
Then an older boy shoved you off the swing, causing you to yelp.ย
Felix looked around, realising that the swings were out of sight of some of the benches. Maybe your Mum or Dad couldnโt see you?ย
It was okay. Felix could help. He sat on the slide and slid down, letting out a tiny giggle before jumping up. He ran over to you, the little girl on the ground.ย
โLeave her alone!โ He yelled out, though his high voice didnโt do much to intimidate the older boys.
The ringleader looked at the small boy and laughed. โOr what?โ
โIโll fight you!โย
โHold on a minute.โ You cut him off back in the present, holding a hand up to the blonde.
Felix frowned at you. โWhat?โ He was confused about why you had interrupted him.
You huffed. โYou did not say you were going to fight him.โ You argued, clearly not remembering it that way.
Felix gasped. โYes, I did.โ He said, sitting on his knees, to reach across the table to grab his orange juice bottle.ย
You scowled at him. โYou said you were gonna โbopโ him. Not fight. You said bop.โ You crossed your arms over your chest as Jeongin played with your short hair.ย
Felix scoffed loudly and glared daggers at you. โOh, please, as if you would know. Werenโt you too busy eating dirt off the ground? You donโt know what youโre talking about.โ
You let out an exaggerated gasp. โHow dare you! Iโll make you eat dirt right now.โ You reached out to grab him, causing Felix to lean back to get out of your reach.
Chan sighed heavily. You two were probably the biggest brats he had ever met. Maybe this is why some people didnโt have children. โYah! Thatโs enough. Continue with the story. Weโre all invested.โย
You nodded and pulled back. โRight, yeah. So hereโs how it continued-โ
โIโll bop you. Right on the nose!โ Little Felix exclaimed as he put his hands on his hips.
You sat up from where you were on the ground, your bottle lip wobbled, but you didnโt cry.ย
The boys laughed. One of them moved to push Felix, but he dodged before stomping on his foot hard. โBack off! I know how to protect myself.โย
The boys shared a look. Felix was sure he had scared the boys off, but in reality, they probably just didnโt want to waste time on the little boy.ย
Felix made his way over to you and held a hand out to you.
You put your hand in his and he pulled you up. โAre you okay?โ The brunette asked you curiously as he helped you dust off your dungarees.ย ย
You huffed and slowly shook your head. โI had it handledโฆโ You trailed off as you looked at the boy. โThank you.โ You had manners, and you knew how to use them.ย
Felix nodded happily. โYouโre welcome. I like your dungarees.โ He spoke cheerfully; his bright smile made you blink.
You grabbed his hand. โYouโre mine now.โ You told him as you began pulling him away from the swings.ย
Felix stumbled slightly but kept up with you as he followed you. โOkay! That sounds fun! I like new friends. My Mummy will be happy.โ Felix loved making friends. Oh, his mum was going to be so proud of him for making another friend.ย
Felix looked up to see that you were dragging him to the bench where his mum was sitting with a pretty lady. Both are talking and fully engaged with one another. Why would you be taking him to his mum?
โMummy!โ You called out to get the woman's attention.ย
The two women looked up. โAw, Sweetheart. What happened?โ The woman stood up, seeing your dishevelled appearance.ย
โLook, new friend. Can I keep him?โ You asked with a big, toothy smile as you looked up at your mum.ย
The two women chuckled. What a coincidence it was for their children to have met and become friends.
โWe can't keep people, baby girl. Do you know his name?โ Your mum asked you curiously.ย
You nodded your head firmly. โFreckles.โ You decided then and there that that was his name.ย ย
Felix let out a string of happy giggles. โThatโs not my name! Iโm Felix.โ He told you as he stood by your side and squeezed your still-connected hands.
You shook your hand out of his and held it up to him. โThatโs close enough.โ You spoke, your voice changing slightly from something soft to a voice that sounded full of attitude.ย
Felixโs mum was the one to notice your bleeding elbow and pointed it out. As your mum cleaned it up, you made Felix laugh whilst commenting about how it was โmeurly a fleshwound, mummy.โย
โMerely. The word is merely, baby. Your father has got to stop letting you watch TV with him.โ She commented with a fond shake of her head.ย
โMurly. Thatโs what I said.โ You spoke with way too much confidence. You looked at Felix. โMums, am I right?โ You spoke, dropping your voice a little like you couldnโt believe you mum was correcting you, that you had OBVIOUSLY said the word correctly.ย
Felix giggled at you. โYouโre silly.โ He said from his spot on his mumโs lap.ย
Eventually, once you were cleaned up, you grabbed Felixโs hand and dragged him off to play on the slide. Your mum and his mum were quick to exchange numbers and arrange a playdate. The first of many.
โMy family moved next door to theirs like a week later. It was a surprise when we realised we were now living next door to the family we met at the park.โ You explained with a nostalgic smile on your face.
Felix nodded his head lightly. โYeah. It was fate. After that, we were inseparable. Though I always thought the saying was โyou saved my life, so now I owe you a debt.โ But instead, I get tormented.โย ย
Changbin passed out the drinks as Seungmin and Chan handed out the cutlery.ย
You shrugged as Minho opened the food and handed it out to everyone. โNo. No. Youโre wrong. โItโs you saved my life. Congratulations. Iโm now your problem.โ If you donโt like it, too bad. You committed to this relationship.โ You spoke as you flung your arms in the air.
Felix tutted. โI should have let you die that day.โ He hissed at you playfully.
You smirked at the blonde. โYeah? Well, now you know why God planned to have me killed that day. This is your punishment.โ You opened your food and picked up your fork.ย
Hyunjin and Han both laughed loudly. โYouโre so entertaining. You two need your own show.โ Jisung wiped away the tears that had fallen from how hard he had laughed. He thought it was also hilarious how you both were acting like you being pushed off a swing was an attempt on your life.
Jeongin watched you take the first bite of food, letting the others finally eat.ย
Yeah, that just made him fall for you deeper. He really should tell someone about his crush on you, but for now, he was happy just keeping the information to himself.
I really love your Skz stories and I always get so excited when a new one gets uploaded. I love all the girls you made so much, like their personalities are so fun and unique.
So while I was traveling home today I was listening to some music and the song reflection from the Mulan movie came up. It really made me think of Doll, since she also couldn't really show who she is to her family. I mean yes Mulan's story is very different since Doll didn't go to war, but I do see some similarities and I don't know maybe you could do something with that?
Honestly I don't really have an idea with it myself, I just really love Mulan and I love Doll. So it makes me excited if the two are somehow connected.
Like maybe a short story where she sings reflection or she watches the movie with one or multiple boys or she talks about it on a live idk.

Thank you so much for loving my girls and my SKZ stories. I really love writing for my girls, and I'm really appreciative that so many people love them as much as I do. I'm really proud of how my girls have turned out so much. And I love that people have a bias when it comes to my girls as well.
The fact that anyone could be doing something and that thing can remind someone of one of my girls blows my mind. I never thought of Mulan and Doll having similarities, but now you've pointed it out, I can see it. I always thought Hun was the most Mulan-like, but I can see Doll in her, too.
The thought of Doll having to hide who she is from her family is heartbreaking, but I'm glad it's a story I'm slowly delving into. I didn't want all eight of my girls to have the same-looking family. I wanted each of their upbringings to be different. Doll was just the one who ended up with the worst family.
I can see Doll loving Reflections. I think it's a song she keeps close to her heart. Maybe she does sing it on live one day after re-watching the movie. Maybe the movie is a comfort movie for her? I can also see her doing a proper cover, maybe once she's grown and fought through her trauma.
I do want to bring back her parents and maybe talk about her siblings a bit. So we can see the difference between her and her siblings. And that's not to say her siblings don't have trauma from being raised by two horrible parents, plus a controlling grandmother. Their pain just looks different. Which is another thing I want Doll to slowly realise. The abuse towards her was just more obvious and on show.
Anyway, back on track. I'll have a look and see what I can come up with. Does make me wonder what characters fit my other girls. So if you have any ideas, let me know.
But yeah. Leave it to me, and I'll do my best. Thank you for supporting my stories. You'll be happy to know I've been drinking a lot of water. It's really hot in England right now. So sleep isn't coming easily, but on the bright side, I got my appetite back after months of not being able to eat much. Summary: The group find out that their creations are real. After being given a mission, they must step into the worlds they created.
He was always allowed to look through the mirror. They all were. When it came to the creators, the Control team, no one was allowed to interact with them. They could only watch. Those were the rules. But as he watched, he couldnโt help feeling angry.ย
How could he sit there draped over another woman when Love was right here? He was neglecting her; it was all wrong. It wasnโt fair. Why did the original version get to have her when his Love was lost in the verses?
The man ran his fingers through his bright red hair. He turned his head as a woman stood next to him.
Her pink hair was tied into a braid. โLook at them. All so happy.โ She grumbled. Maybe it was anger, maybe it was jealousy.ย
The man shook his head. โThey donโt deserve her. Not if theyโre going to act like this. Not whilst OUR Love is gone. Itโs not fair.โย
The woman placed a hand on his back and rubbed it gently. โSo take her. Take what belongs to you. You promised me that you would help keep this family whole.โ
The male looked down at her and slowly nodded. He intended to keep his promise.ย
The dance practice room was hot. Sixteen people filled the room in various ways. Minho stood with Doll, the duo were slowly going over some steps of the dance with Seungmin and Sweetheart.ย
Honey was sitting beside Chan, pulling him away from work to look at her. A giggle left her lips as her husband pulled her closer.ย
Felix was laying on the ground on Jeonginโs back, Princess cuddled into his side as the trio watched a random YouTube video. Bug was lying close by to the trio, pretending not to care, but was secretly watching the video too.
Han was laying on the couch, his head in Babyโs lap, wittering about how he was sure the dance was trying to kill him.ย
Hun and Changbin were sitting side by side. Hun had just finished ordering food for the group. Hyunjin had practically sprawled himself over Hunโs lap. Love held one of his hands, giggling with Changbin.ย
Bug looked over at Seungmin for a moment, watching him dance. โWould you four stop? Come take a break.โ She frowned as she watched them closely.ย
Minho stopped, his eyes finding her in the mirror. โDarling.โ He spoke her name in a playfully serious tone.
Love let out a giggle. โBug is right. The whole point of a break is to have a break. You four need water.โ
Felix squeezed Jeonginโs arm. โWell, I need to chew on some muscles.โ He let out a laugh as Jeongin gently pushed him off.ย
Hyunjin laughed, watching the duo until something in the mirror caught his eye. It was like a ripple went through it, like in water. He shook his head and snuggled closer to Hun. โNoona! Pay attention to me. Iโm like Tinkerbell, I need attention to live.โ
That made Changbin and Hun burst out into laughter.ย
The laughter stopped as Doll let out a yell.ย
Everyone turned to look at Doll. They all watched as a figure in the mirror walked from the back of the room toward the mirror.
A hand shot out of the mirror before a body followed.ย
Was thatโฆ Hyunjin?ย
The group watched, frozen in fear and shock, as a Hyunjin came through the mirror. He looked exactly like how Hyunjin looked in the Oddinary Trailer: same black outfit, same red hair. However, there was an anger in his eyes that shook through everyone.ย
Oddinary Hyunjin stormed over toward where Changbin, Hun, Hyunjin and Love were sitting. Hyunjin sat up.
โYou stupid idiot!โ Oddinary Hyunjin shouted at Hyunjin. โSheโs right there, and youโre not even LOOKING AT HER!โ His voice was harsh, dripping with rage.ย
โYou're coming with me.โ He reached out and grabbed Loveโs arm, pulling her up. Causing her to yelp. โSheโs GONE! And youโre taking her for granted!โย
He pulled her closer to his body and cupped her left cheek with his free hand. โI'll take care of you. Don't worry your pretty head about anything.โย
Oddinary Hyunjin reached into his pocket and pulled out a ring. It had 16 gems embedded in it. All different colours. With one being a little bigger than the rest. It was a light pink. He put the ring on Loveโs ring finger, right above her engagement ring.ย
โPerfect.โ He smirked down at her.
Hun, Chan and Changbin all stood up at the same time as Love tried to pull away from the man. โJinnie!โ She called out to her boyfriend as she tried to look at him. Her body flooded with fear.
She gasped as her chin was grabbed and she was forced to look up at Oddinary looking Hyunjin.ย
โDon't look at him. He canโt help you. Come on, be a good girl and let's go. I'm going to love you so much.โ Oddinary Hyunjinโs eyes were... unhinged.
He began to pull Love to the mirror. She let out a loud whimper of fear. โNo, please. Let me go!โ She tried pulling out of his grasp, but it was no use.
Hun shoved Oddinary Hyunjin back, breaking his grip on Love. Changbin reached out and pulled Love behind him.ย
Hyunjin moved quickly to her and pulled her into a hug, shielding her from the other version of himself.
Love hurried to take the ring off her finger. Though she failed due to her hands shaking so much.ย
โLeave her alone. You arenโt taking her anywhere.โ Hun crossed her arms over her chest, subtly showing this different version of Hyunjin her muscles. She wasnโt playing around.ย
Oddinary Hyunjin backed up slightly. โGive her to me.โ He growled. He looked at Love, seeing she had tried to take the ring off. โKeep it on! You need it!โ
Love gulped and looked down at the ring on her finger.
Sweetheart shook her head in confusion. โHow-how are there two of him?! What the fuck is going on!?โ
Oddinary Hyunjin let out a heavy breath as he backed up. โIโm not leaving her here. None of you is looking after her!โย
Hyunjin looked at Love, taking her hand in his as he kept her close. He looked at the other version of himself. โWe are looking after her.โ
Oddinary Hyunjin threw his hands in the air as he began to pace slightly. โNot from the looks of it. You were draped over Hunโs lap.โ
Hyunjin scoffed. โSo? Love is everything to me. Everyone knows that.โ Sure, he might simp over Hun, but Love was who his heart belonged to.
Oddinary Hyunjin turned back to look at the mirrors. โHoney!โ He shouted.
Everyone looked at Honey for a moment before looking at the mirror. They watched as a second body came through the mirror, watching ripples run through the mirror as the Oddinary version of Honey stepped through.
Her pink hair stood out against the pure white dress she wore. โYou couldnโt just do one job, could you?โ
Oddinary Hyunjin shook his head and narrowed his eyes at the woman. โI tried. I canโt take on the Control versions of Chan, Changbin and Hun all on my own!โ He yelled in anger.
Oddinary Honey tilted her head to the side slightly, her eyes turning dark. โDonโt you ever raise your voice at me.โย
She turned to face the group. โIโll cut to the chase. Our Love has vanished, so weโre taking yours.โ She stepped forward, her heels clicking against the ground as she walked towards Love, who clung to Hyunjin and Changbin.
She stopped as Chan moved in her way. Oddinary Honey looked up at him. She raised a hand and traced a finger over his bicep as she gave him a flirtatious look. โLook at you, protective in every world. Move.โ The last word was threatening.ย
Chan shook his head. โNo. Youโre not taking anyone.โ His eyes ran over her face.ย
She truly was Honey from when they were shooting the Oddinary Trailer. It was crazy. He looked over at his Honey and then back at the Oddinary version. It was insane. The same freckles, the same nose. The same voice. Though his Honeyโs held more maturity. Their eyes were different. One of Oddinary Honeyโs eyes was pink, the other was her natural colour. Just like from the trailer.
Before Oddinary Honey could say anything, a second Chan appeared behind her. Blue hair, wearing a suit. โMy heart, I told you both we canโt just take her. They could help us.โย
The blue-haired Chan wrapped an arm around his pink Honeyโs waist and pulled her away from everyone and over to Oddinary Hyunjin. โWe need your help. Our version of Love has gone missing, and itโs causing problems in our world.โ
Seungmin looked between the Oddinary trio. โHow did you all get here?โ A part of him wondered if maybe he had fallen asleep and this was all just one strange dream.
Minho stepped forward, slightly in front of Seungmin, Doll and Sweetheart. โWhat do you mean you need our help?โ
Princess stood up from the floor slowly. โHow are you even real? Youโre justโฆcharacters we made for a trailer.โ Her voice was shaky and unsure.
Oddinary Hyunjin scoffed. โYou lot created us. So you owe it to us to fix this.โย
Oddinary Honey patted his arm. โYou really donโt know, do you? Every single music video, trailer, and even that SKZFlix movie you guys made. Itโs all real. Every time you come out with a new album, a new MV. You create multiple new worlds.โย
Oddinary Honey looked between her Chan and Hyunjin before looking back at the original group. โYou make more than just videos and music. Without knowing it, you all made entire worlds. You gave us life. Not just us, but the others too. You all need to own it and fix it. Iโm not losing one of my kids because you won't help.โ She stamped her foot on the ground.ย
Chan blinked. Oh, she was adorable when she was angry.
Now was not the time.
Honey grabbed Chanโs hand. โHow exactly are you expecting us to help?โ She asked as she stepped forward.ย
The two Honeys faced each other and walked towards one another. It was strange for Honey to see her younger self. But Oddinary Honey was used to seeing all versions of herself, younger and older.
โI expect you and your group to bounce between worlds to help find OUR Love.โ Oddinary Honey reached out and brushed some of Honeyโs brown hair off her shoulder. โAnd Iโd make it quick if you want to keep your Love with you.โ
Honey slapped her hand away. โAre you threatening us?โ She wouldnโt stand for her loved ones being targeted like this.
The pink-haired woman let out a laugh. โI like to think of it as more of a promise.โ She spoke tauntingly as she placed her hands on her hips, in an almost triumphant way.
Honey let out a scoff and stepped closer to her younger self. โOver my dead body are you taking ANY of my members away from me.โ
The two glared at one another. But before either of them could do or say anything else, they were both pulled away by their respective Chans.ย
โWhy was that hot?โ Jeongin whispered to Princess and Felix, who both looked at him like he had two heads. He groaned as Princess slapped the back of his head.
Oddinary Chan sighed. โPlease. Weโve searched for her ourselves. Weโve asked for help, the other verses have tried, but no one can seem to find her. And we can't seem to get in contact with the Megaverse group. Youโre our last resort. Please, help us find her.โ
The room was quiet for a moment. Debating if this was even real. What were they even supposed to do? How would they travel through worlds that they had only just found out existed?
Hyunjin nodded slowly. โHow would we do that? Go through the different worlds?โ He asked curiously.
Oddinary Chan looked at Oddinary Honey, who huffed. She reached into her pocket and pulled out a pouch, handing it to Oddinary Chan.ย
The blue-haired man held the pouch out to Chan. โInside are rings. Like the one your Love is wearing. Theyโll allow you into the worlds. Theyโll help keep you all together, and if anyone gets separated, theyโll help you find one another.โ
Oddinary Hyunjin leaned against the mirror, his arms crossed over his chest. โWe'll open the door for you through the mirror. Now letโs go! Weโre losing time.โ
Chan opened the pouch and poured the rings into his open hand. Each ring had 16 different coloured gemstones going around the band. The only difference was that each ring had one stone that was slightly bigger than the rest in a different colour.
He looked at his members, then at Honey. โYou donโt all have to come. If anyone wants to back out now, tell me.โ Honey picked up one of the rings, the one with a bigger gemstone that was a golden amber colour.
Baby frowned. โHold on a second, we never agreed to do this in the first place. Itโs not our fault these things happened.โ She spoke with a pointed voice, making sure to get her point across.ย
Hun shook her head. โBaby, you donโt have to come. But theyโre ready to take our Love from us if we donโt find theirs.โ She placed a hand on the womanโs shoulder, squeezing it lightly.ย
The members each took turns taking a ring from Chan and putting it on.ย
Oddinary Chan waved a hand over the mirror, causing it to ripple. โAll you need to do is decide where you want to go. What trailer or music video world do you want to head to, and thatโs where youโll go.โ
โOh, and you have a time limit. We want our Love back soon, or weโre coming for yours. She'll be mine!" With that, Oddinary Hyunjin let out a laugh as he stepped into the mirror.
He was followed by Oddinary Chan and Oddinary Honey.
Chan stepped forward next. He looked at the ripple in the mirror. He looked at Honey for a moment, who nodded at him. โSo, where to?โ He asked.
Everyone looked at each other, trying to figure out what the best course of action could be here.ย
โWhat about Maniac? For all we know, Maniac and Oddinary could be different?โ Doll suggested as she took the sweat-proof bow out of her hair that she always used for dance practice. She walked over to her bag and switched it out for one of the everyday bows that she used when out and about.ย
Bug slowly nodded. โOr it could be the same? But going there could help us find some clues? Maybe? Maybe if we start where Oddinary Love started, we can follow and find her easier?โ
Chan let out a hum of agreement. โManiac, it is then.โย
Hun stepped forward toward the portal in the mirror. โIโll go first. Once you all get there, stay together. We canโt afford to lose anyone before weโve even started.โ She stepped through the mirror and disappeared.ย
Slowly, one by one, the members went through. Some stayed linked, like Hyunjin and Love holding hands or like Han holding the back of Babyโs shirt to stay close to her. Felix muttered under his breath about how โmentalโ all this was.
Chan and Honey stood side by side as the members went through the mirror.ย
Honey looked up at Chan and took his hand in hers. โWe can do this.โ She nodded.
Chan smiled. โYeah, we can. Come on, Iโll be right behind you.โ He kissed the crown of her head.
Honey closed her eyes for a moment and smiled to herself. She then walked to the mirror and stepped inside.
Chan followed her, keeping a hold of her hand, not daring to let go.
When Chan walked into the Maniac world, it filled his mind with memories. It looked exactly like the music video, but real. Chan was in awe at the world around him.ย
There was a whole other city above them, upside down in the sky. To one side, the earth was cracked, causing the street to the left to almost look like platforms.
Had they truly created all of this?
โSo, what do we do now?โ Sweetheart asked as she crossed her arms over her chest.ย
Everyone looked around, trying to figure out the best way to go.ย They stood in the middle of the street, between a cafe and a rundown building. A little further up the street was a sign to the train station and subway station.
โHow about we follow the sign?โ Jisung suggested as he pointed to the sign.ย
Everyone turned to look at it.ย
Chan nodded. โAlright. Everyone, stay close. Letโs go.โ It made some sense. The train station could be a good spot to go to.ย
The group began to walk. The world seemed oddly quiet at the moment. Where were the Maniac versions of themselves? What could they possibly be doing right now?
Hun led the way with Changbin right beside her. Chan and Honey stayed at the back, keeping their eyes on the whole group. Making sure they were safe and together.ย
Missing personโs posters lay on the ground. They looked old, really old. Princess slipped her hand in Felixโs as she spotted a missing poster with her face on it.ย
Hyunjin squeezed Loveโs hand lightly as they walked. โAre you alright?โ He asked her as he kissed the back of her hand.ย
Love nodded slowly, her heels clicking on the road as she walked. โYeah. I think Iโm more shocked that a whole other version of you tried to rip me away from you.โ
Doll let out a tut. โOh, please, we all know every version of Hyunjin is obsessed with you to an, dare I say, unhealthy amount and will also openly simp for Hun.โ She tauntingly spoke as she walked with a bounce in her step.
Hyunjin let out a gasp of denial. โHow dare you? I obsess over my Muse a normal amount, thank you very much.โ
Seungmin snorted. โYou really donโt.โ Just how delusional was Hyunjin?
Darling smirked. โLast time you were away from her for more than five minutes, you had a meltdown.โ She sounded a little too happy to remind the dark-haired man of that.ย
Hyunjin placed his free hand on his chest. He was scandalised. โIโll have you know I had a meltdown because I was having an emotional time. Iโm allowed to express my feelings!โ He and Darling locked eyes and glared at each other.
Hyunjin stuck his tongue out at her, causing Darling to roll her eyes. โOh, real mature, Jinnie-oppa.โย
Love giggled and shook her head. โThatโs enough. We just need to figure out how to find Oddinary me.โ The woman paused and shook her head. โI never thought Iโd say something like that.โย
Jeongin stretched as they came to the entrance of the train station. One entrance allowed them ahead to the train, the other would send them downstairs to the tube.ย
โWas it wise to wear heels on a mission?โ Jeongin asked as he looked at Honey, Love, and Doll. He let out a yelp as Sweetheart slapped the back of his head. โWhat was that for?โ
Sweetheart glared at the male. โYouโve seen those three run, dance, walk, strut, play sports, and sprint in heels. And you're questioning if they can wear them during a mission?โ
Jeongin raised his hands in defence. โSorry for worrying about their ankles.โ
Sweetheart scoffed. โYou should worry about your own ankles.โ She hissed out playfully.
Honey shook her head. โAlright, thatโs enough. We need to pick. Straight ahead, or go downstairs?โย
Chan stepped forward and placed a hand on Loveโs shoulder. โWhy donโt you pick? Maybe you can help sense where Oddinary Love went?โย
Love frowned. That was a lot of pressure. โI donโt even know if I can sense another version of me.โ The woman ran her fingers through her long, dark brown hair and huffed. However, without realising it, she had started walking towards the steps leading down.
Baby tilted her head back and groaned. โLetโs just go downstairs.โ She said, walking past everyone and walking down the stairs to the underground station, which was where Love had been heading.
Jisung was quick to follow, but slowed down after Doll called out to him. โJisung, you better not run down those stairs!โย
Right, last time he ran down a flight of stairs, he had ended up falling. The only bright side to that day was that he had Baby, Minho and Doll all looking after him.
The group made their way downstairs and to the platform. They walked further into the station. Graffiti littered the walls.ย
Everything was quiet until a voice broke through the silence.
โAre you fucking kidding me?โ It sounded like Honey. But their Honey hadnโt spoken.ย
The sound of heels clicking filled the space as two figures made their way to the group. It was Oddinary Honey, the same one who had been in their dance practice room. Behind her was Felix, Oddinary Felix.ย
โWhat the hell are you idiots doing here? You think weโre stupid enough not to have checked out our entire world for her? Are you just rubbing it in our faces that you have yours?โ Oh, she was angry.
Oddinary Felix placed a hand on her arm gently. โHoney, Iโm sure they didnโt mean anything by it.โ
The woman threw her arms in the air in distress. โDidnโt mean anything by it? Yongbok, Jinnie, is in pieces. Hun has been on alert for weeks. One of my members is missing, and they're here faulting their Love in our faces!โ
Darling put her hands on her hips and huffed in annoyance. โWe thought it would be a good idea to start from the beginning. You know, trace Loveโs steps and see if it helps at all.โ
Oddinary Felix shook his head and gently guided his Honey to a bench. He sat her down. โBreathe. Deep breaths. Weโll find her. Weโll all be together again. I promise.โ He spoke as he knelt in front of her, gently rubbing her thigh.ย
He turned to look at the original group. โIโm sorry. Sheโs just emotional. None of us has ever been out of our world for this long. Itโs causing everyone to panic. Not just our world, but others too.โย
Minho slowly nodded his head. He looked around the empty train station.ย
โThe tube will be here soon. The train upstairs takes you to the closest worlds to us, so Maxident, Circus and 5-Star. The tube, however, has doors to a bunch of different worlds. They tend to change from time to time.โ Oddinary Felix explained as he stood up.ย
He looked at the original version of himself. The two versions of Felix looked at one another. Felix first noticed how his Oddinary self had one blue eye and one green eye.ย
Oddinary Felix smiled and nodded lightly to himself. โSee, I told you. Iโm pretty in every world.โ He said, turning to Oddinary Honey.
She let out a small laugh and lightly smacked his ass. โBehave yourself.โย
Odd Felix giggled as he stepped closer to the pink-haired woman. โWhat? You donโt think Iโm pretty?โ He asked, switching to English.
โLixie, you know I think youโre beautiful.โ The woman replied in English as she took one of his hands in hers.ย
The blonde grinned. โI think youโre beautiful, too.โ He leaned down close to the woman, their faces inches apart. He then pressed his lips against hers in a soft kiss.
She kissed back as the group watched on in pure shock. They thought Odd Honey was with Odd Chan. At least thatโs what it had seemed like in the dance practice room. So why was she kissing Odd Felix?
The duo pulled away, and the pink-haired woman chuckled. โSo this is how you decide to cheer me up? Take me out and kiss me?โ
The blonde shrugged. โItโs better than you sulking on Channieโs lap and he agreed. Getting some air and visiting our younger selves is good for you.โ He explained as he gently squeezed her hand.ย
โIโm sorry, but what the fuck?โ Sweetheart asked in pure shock, pointing at the duo. โHow long have you two been a thing?โย
Odd Honey let out a small huff, remembering their audience. โEver since he finally gave in to being Oddinary. Just like all the rest. Weโre all together. I just happened to be more drawn to Channie.โ
Odd Felix nodded in agreement. โSheโs right. Iโm more drawn to Princess, and the others are the same. Weโre all dating, but we do have an extra special spark with certain people in the group.โย
Well, that was interesting news. So the Oddinary group was a polyclue. It made the group wonder if thatโs how it was for Oddinary, where some of the other verses were the same? Polyclues, or were they in their usual or even different pairs?
Honey and Felix looked at one another in shock. This wasnโt something either of them ever thought they would see. Then again, none of them was expecting to see other versions of themselves.
They didnโt have time to quiz the duo on other worlds, as the station was filled with the sound of the tube coming. It pulled into the station and came to a stop. The doors opened, allowing everyone on board.
Oddinary Felix pulled his Honey up off the seat, and the duo walked on to the train.ย
Honey and Chan nodded at each other and followed the duo. The rest of the group was quick to follow. The inside of the train was bigger than expected. Along the walls were a bunch of different doors.ย
Oddinary Felix turned to the group. โPick any door you want. Some are obvious about what world youโll go to, some might not be.โ
Suddenly, both versions of Honey let out a pained gasp. โAh!โย
Chan grabbed his wife, holding her close. โWhatโs going on? What happened?โย
Oddinary Felix looked behind him, seeing Oddinary Honey walk toward the door. โNo, no. Honey. Look at me. You know you canโt go there.โ He pulled her away from the door. Damn it, it was normally in a different cart.
He cupped her cheeks in his hands, making sure she was looking at him and not at the door. He watched her eyes blink, and the glossy look was gone.ย
โBbokie?โ Her voice trembled as she looked up at the blonde. โI heard him. Heโs coming!โ She cried out in terror.ย
Oddinary Felix pulled her into a hug. โHe canโt get you. I promise. Come on, letโs find Chris.โย
Changbin blinked in confusion. โWhatโs going on? Whatโs happening to them both?โ He asked, pointing to the two different Honeys.ย
Oddinary Felix looked at the group. โIโm sorry, I need to get her home.โย
Oddinary Honey was crying and clinging to Felix. Clearly, whatever was going on had traumatised her.
Chan held his Honey closer to his chest as he stroked her hair. She let out a quiet gasp against him as a wave of sadness hit her.ย
The blonde male sighed. โIโm sorry. Whatever you do, stay away from that door. Itโs dangerous. Keep Honey away from it.โ With that, he gently pulled Oddinary Honey off the train, ready to take her home.ย
Looks like their trip to Hellevator would have to wait.ย
The train doors closed, and it took off, leaving the group alone. They looked at the door Oddinary Felix had pointed at.ย
There were two doors side by side. The first was a plain white door with a shiny doorknob. The second one was a dark purple; it had deep green scratches on it. The scratch marks seemed to glow the more they looked at them. In the top right corner was what looked like a spider web.
The question was, which door was the one they were meant to be avoiding?ย
Chan looked at Honey. โHow do you feel?โ He was concerned.ย
Hun walked over and gently rubbed Honeyโs shoulder.ย
Honey shook her head. โI just feel so sad. Likeโฆall of you are upset, and I can feel it, but I know itโs not you. I feel..a pull to the door.โ She cringed as another wave of sadness overwhelmed her.
Jisung bit his bottom lip. โWe should really leave. Maybe going somewhere different will help?โ He suggested.ย
Baby nodded and pointed to a black and white door with red chains on it. โLetโs avoid that door.โย
It gave off Red Lights vibes. So yeah, not going there would be a good idea.ย
Doll walked over to a fridge door and opened it. โHey, itโs a door. Like an actual door.โ She spoke in surprise.ย
Across from the fridge was a safe. Next to the fridge door was an elevator door. It was strange, but oddly fitting.ย
Some of the doors were actually normal doors, but with designs on them. Others were just strange.ย
โYou want us to go through a fridge?โ Changbin asked as he walked to Dollโs side.
He peered inside. The place oddly smelled like... jam?ย
Sweetheart huffed. โFuck it, letโs go.โ She groaned out. Anywhere was better than them just standing on the train.
So they did. One by one, they went through the door, ready to face whatever the next world throws at them.ย
As Chan stepped through the door, Oddinary Felixโs warning ran through his mind.ย
Not only were they trying to find Odd Love, but they had to keep Honey safe from a door. And the question of why terrified him to his core.
When Chan walked into the new world, he was immediately hit by the sweet scent of jam. He took in the world around him. There was a building to the side. It looked like a mix between a house, a shop and a warehouse. The cement walls were peeling.
There was a long street in front of them. Rats ran across the street to get to the globs of red and green jam on the floor. He was amazed, only for Princess to let out a loud groan and bring him back to reality.ย
โEwww, I stepped in this green gunk. Ick.โ She stuck her tongue out in disgust. Felix giggled at her dramatics.
Sweetheart rolled her eyes at the female. โOh, boo hoo, you've stepped in slime. Want someone to carry you instead?โ Princess playfully glared at the slightly younger female.ย
โI think itโs jam.โ Jeongin piped in. He immediately went quiet as the two females looked at him. โIโm just saying.โย
Sweetheart shook her head at her boyfriend. โYou are so lucky youโre cute.โ Well, that had Innie blushing.
Baby grabbed Han by the shirt and pulled him to stand between herself and Doll. โStay where I can see you.โย
Jisung looked up at his girlfriend in confusion. โWhy? Not that Iโm complaining, butโฆwhy?โ
Baby shook her head. โDoes no one see the yellowish green tint in the air?โ
Hun stepped forward, looking around. โI see it too.โ She didnโt remember this world having a haze over it like this. Sheโd seen the MV a few times. This was different. This seemed to have been a byproduct created by this world.
Chan frowned. He held Honey close as he tilted his head down to look at her. โAre you sure youโre okay?โ He asked his wife, worry filled his voice.
The woman slowly nodded. โYeah, the pain I felt in there.. Itโs gone. Like it never even happened.โ It was strange. She just hoped the Oddinary version of herself was safe.ย
Changbin stepped forward to the entrance of a building. The metal door was wide open. The lights flickered inside, but he stepped inside anyway.ย
โBunny?โ Hun asked as she watched her boyfriend. She moved quickly, not wanting to lose sight of him.
The group followed after the duo as they all walked together through the hallway. It was dark except for the flickering lights above that reminded Minho of hospital lights. Big metal shelves lined the walls, filled with random objects.ย
They walked through a dorm frame at the end of the hall and came to a stop at what looked like a living room of sorts. It was big and looked rather comfy. Posters for JJam littered the walls, half peeling off.ย
The JJam versions Jeongin, Sweetheart, Darling and Seungmin were all sitting together on the floor putting labels on Jjam jars.ย
Behind them on the settee were JJam Chan and Honey. The weird thing was that the sleeping duo were handcuffed together. JJam Princess and Han were lying on a chair together, giggling about strawberries.ย
Through a doorway to the right, they could just about see JJam Baby handing JJam Minho a spoon of jam whilst JJam Changbin giggled to himself, slumped against the wall, entertaining himself with a blob of jam on his hand.
โIgnore them.โ JJAM Sweetheart stated. โTheyโre lost in the fog still.โ She told the group, not even looking up at them as she handed a jar to JJAM Darling, who was sitting beside her.ย
The group watched as JJam Jeongin filled up a jar with jam and handed it to JJam Seungmin, who was on his other side.ย
JJam Sweetheart let out a sigh. โI thought you were sending Minho-Oppa to pick up your order?โ She asked before looking up at the group. She frowned. โWait-โ She nudged Darling, who nudged Jeongin, who nudged Seungmin.ย
The foursome watched the group with wide eyes. โYouโre not meant to be here. Why are you here? How did you get here?โ JJam Darling asked in confusion.ย
โYou need to leave.โ JJam Seungmin told them quickly. Both because they werenโt meant to be in these worlds and also because he knew they didnโt have long for the fog to take over their minds.ย
It was truly amazing that he and the other three hadnโt fallen completely to the fog. The others all seemed like they were high, but these four werenโt. It allowed them to work and to make sure the forbidden alleyway was blocked and off-limits.ย
โWe kind of just picked a door.โ Doll explained as she reached up and fixed the bow in her hair.
JJam Sweetheart glared at the woman. โWell, obviously. We mean, why are you in these worlds to begin with? You pabo.โ
Minho glared at the different version of Sweetheart. โDonโt talk to her like that. Weโre here because apparently Oddinary Love went missing.โย
Hyunjin nodded as he squeezed Loveโs hand. โYeah, and weโre here to find her so they donโt take myโฆ our Love from us.โย
JJam Jeongins shook his head as he scoffed loudly. โOf course Oddinary broke the rules. Selfish pricks.โ It was so typical. The Oddinary group was the one who watched the Control group the most. They never really played by the rules, well, except for the truly important ones.ย
JJam Seungmin grabbed a jar of red jam and screwed a lid onto it. โThe only Love we have is ours, and sheโs too busy making out with our Jinnie to even breathe.โ He set the Jar into a box labelled โFREEZE SHIPPINGโ and sighed.
Jisung snorted. โSounds about right.โ He giggled to himself. Earning him a glare from Hyunjin.
JJam Darling looked at the group. โYou need to go. Now. Get out. Sheโs not here.โ She explained quickly as she stood up. โYou need to go before they get here.โย
She walked over to Seungmin and grabbed his wrist. She pulled him over to a door leading outside the building. โOut!โ She opened the door and let him go.ย
Honey pulled away from her husband and made her way over to step between Seungmin and JJam Darling. โDonโt touch him like that.โ She practically growled.
Seungmin shook his head and stepped outside. โCome on.โ He spoke simply, but he glared slightly at JJam Darling.
The rest of the group made their way outside. Honey took one last look at JJam Darling. โYou touch my kid again, and Iโll slap you silly.โ She stepped outside and walked after the group.ย
That made the JJam foursome smirk. Now this was a Honey they could get behind. A fighter willing to step up for her members. Yes, they loved and adored their JJam Honey, and they knew she was safer in her current mindset. He couldnโt get her when she was like this. But sometimes they did miss how she was before the fog was made.ย
JJam Seungmin got up and walked over to stand beside his Darling. โYou might want to find a door and use it before the toxins get you, too.โย
The door slammed shut. They were still in JJam, just on the street now. They needed a plan. They walked away from the building, but stayed close enough just in case they needed to go back inside.
โWhy were the JJam version of us handcuffed? I donโt remember doing that for the MV.โ Chan was so confused. He looked at Honey, wondering if he was remembering wrong.
Honey shook her head. โThatโs because we didnโt. We never did that. So whatever that is, itโs from the world itself, not us.โ She crossed her arms over her chest.
Doll looked over at the building and then at the group. โCorrect me if Iโm wrong, butโฆdidnโt Seungmin- JJam Seungmin say something about a toxin?โย
Minho nodded quickly. โYeah, he did.โ So they only had so much time before they themselves would end up like the JJam members.ย
They couldnโt risk that. They needed a clear mind.
Love let out a small shriek as she jumped and clung to Hyunjin and Hun. A rat scurried past her. โEw! Ew! A rat!!โ
Hyunjin pouted and pulled her close to his chest, lifting her off her feet.ย
Sweetheart let out a snort. โAw, poor Love. Always gotta be the damsel in distress.โ Her voice was mockingly teasing.
Love glared at Sweetheart and huffed. โI do not!โ She said as she put her feet back on the ground. She pouted at the Aussie woman.ย
Sweetheart stepped closer to the older but shorter woman. She was one of the only people who didnโt succumb immediately to Loveโs pouty face. It was something she took pride in, but behind closed doors, she always whined to Jeongin about how adorable Love looked. โReally? Weโre here because a version of you is missing. Your job title might as well be professional damsel. Always in need of saving.โย
Love frowned up at Sweetheart. Why was she doing this now? Was now really the time? โWhat is your problem? Iโm allowed to have fears. Rats just happen to be one of them. You know this.โย
Love and Sweetheart had always had this strange relationship. They would poke and tease each other. Sweetheart would roll her eyes at Love for always needing help. Love would poke at Sweetheart for being too much of a menace. But neither woman ever had a harshness to their voice. It was playful fun; it was teasing. If either of them needed the other, they were always there, even if they didnโt always see eye to eye. It was their love language for each other.
โLove, are you on the ground?โ Sweetheart asked her curiously.ย
The brunette nodded her head lightly. โYeah. You can see that I am.โ She spoke in a very duh tone.
Sweetheart smirked. โThen my work here is done. Youโre so easy to rile up.โย
Love let out a groan of annoyance. She turned to look at Minho, Doll, Chan and Honey. โControl your kid.โ She whined as she clung to Hyunjinโs arm.
Before anyone else delved into the little tiff that the girls were having, Jisung got everyoneโs attention. โLook! Someoneโs coming out of the building.โ
They watched as two people stepped out of the building. Both in a suit, one woman and one man, wearing a gas mask. They could see JJam Seungmin and Darling standing side by side in the doorway, looking at the masked duo.
โHow long do you four have?โ The male asked, his voice muffled by the mask. He held a case of Jam.
JJam Seungmin shrugged. โUntil the end of the week. Itโll last a week or two like usual, and then weโll wake up again.โ He didnโt sound happy, and he wasnโt. He hated being pulled into the fog; he felt lucky that he was one of the four who could snap out of the fog so quickly and so often.ย
The masked man nodded. โAlright. Iโll organise it so that some of my members will check in on you all. Has she been near the alleyway?โ
JJam Darling was quick to shake her head. โNo. She hasnโt been near it. She doesnโt feel it either. Weโve noticed sheโs stopped being able to feel all of us, too. Plus, with her being handcuffed to Channie-Oppa, sheโs never alone.โย
The masked duo nodded, seemingly happy with the information they had just gotten. With a quick thank you, the duo turned and left. The door to the building shut as the duo walked down the street.
Hun straightened up. โCome on. We should follow them. We need to get out of this world before the toxins get to us.โ She didnโt care where they ended up as long as the group was safe.
So they followed Hunโs lead. They quickly but quietly followed after the duo. They watched them approach an alleyway that was lined with doors. Towards the back of the alleyway was the option to go left or right. The path leading to the left was completely blocked off.
The duo approached a large, elegant-looking black door. It had tiny lights on the side of it. The man opened the door and let the woman inside. He then followed after her, letting the door close behind them.
The group approached the door. It was between a door that had fog rolling out from under it and a door that looked wet to the touch.ย
Hun walked over to the black door and opened it. She walked through. It seemed to be her role. Going first in case there was danger on the other side. She was quickly followed by the younger members.ย
Loveโs eyes rested on a multicoloured door. It looked like it had different animal footprints all over it. Something about that door called to her. She felt the need to go to it. It was like the door was familiar. Not to herโฆ But maybe to another version of her.
However, she didnโt have time to dwell on it as Hyunjin gently pulled her through the black door with him.ย
Chan was the last to step through the door, the door slammed shut behind him, and he was immediately greeted by snow.
Summary: Jeongin and Wooyoung are pretty brats when they wanna be.
Today was a big day. All three Mayfly groups had some final practices to do. MayV, the vocal team had already done their run-through. They had arrived earlier than everyone else. Well, except you, since you had driven Seungmin to practice. The three teams had decided to hold their final off-stage practice together before tomorrow's performances.ย
The dance team were going through their routine. You nodded along as you kept your eyes mainly on your own members, but you always made sure to watch the others, too. You had gotten to see some of the dance team perform by going to some of their practices. You had learned enough of the dance to be able to help Minho with teaching Felix and Jeongin when they were in the dance practice room alone.ย
The performance came to an end, and you happily clapped, as did the others.ย
โMinho is insane. Iโve never seen someone dance like that.โ Hongjoong spoke in awe as he looked at you and Chan.ย
Chan smiled proudly. โThanks. Yunho is amazing. The way he moves is captivating.โ His arm rested around your waist, holding you close to him.
Hongjoong nodded with a proud look on his face.
You grabbed Jeonginโs water bottle. Felix stepped off the stage to grab his own drink as Minho spoke to some of the other members.ย
You wiggled out of Chanโs arms, ignoring his whines and made your way over to your Maknae and handed him his waterbottle. โHere you go, baby.โย
Jeongin smiled at you and took the bottle from you. โThanks, Mama Bear. I love you.โ He kissed your cheek before opening the bottle and drinking some.ย
You moved over to stand beside Seonghwa. Wooyoung let out a teasing laugh at Jeongin.ย
Jeongin turned to look at the male and glared. โWhat? You donโt love your mother? Thatโs sad. I feel sorry for you.โ He asked as he gestured over to Seonghwa.ย
Everyone let out a collective โOoh.โ in shock and surprise.ย
Wooyoungโs jaw dropped. Ooo, two could play that game. โIโll have you know, I love Seonghwa, I just donโt expect him to do everything for me.โ He crossed his arms over his chest, and he had a playful glint in his eyes.
Jeongin smirked at him. โYeah? I donโt expect anything from Honey either, and yet she always seems to know exactly what I need. Sheโs so in tune with us all. She did bring me my water after all.โย
Wooyoung clicked his tongue. โSeonghwa just finished dancing.โ He expressed that it was an important bit of information.ย
Jeongin giggled. โWhat Iโm hearing are excuses. My Mama Bear loves, adores and cherishes me. Your Mother Bunny โฆwhat? Tolerates you?โ He asked as he stepped closer to Wooyoung.
Wooyoung let out a dramatic gasp. โLies! Those are lies! How dare you? I am the FAVOURITE. Bet you canโt say the same, can you?โ
San frowned as he watched the two. โI wouldnโt say youโre the fav-โ
Wooyoung held a hand up to the male. โDonโt agree with him.โ He spoke, feeling scandalised.ย
โThis is why Honey will never adopt you. She doesnโt have a favourite. She loves all her members equally.โ Jeonginโs next words flooded you with a soft, warm feeling in your heart and brought tears to your eyes. โShe IS the best mother to ever mother.โ Jeongin spoke with way too much pride, which allowed Wooyoung to take a shot at him.
Wooyoung grinned at Jeongin. โReally, because from where Iโm standing, her favourite seems to be whoever's name begins with Fe and ends in Lix. Or starts with Yong and ends in Bok.โ He leaned closer to Jeongin, and a look of mischief filled his eyes.
Jeongin let out a loud gasp that came straight from his chest as he recoiled away from Wooyoung, who was standing inches apart from him. โYou take that back!โย
You and Seonghwa looked at one another. โIโm sorry about him.โ You both said in unison before laughing together.ย
โIโm really sorry, Wooyoung can be a bit passionate sometimes.โ Seonghwa told you with a look of embarrassment and amusement on his face.
You looked up at the male and shook your head. โItโs okay. Innie sometimes doesnโt know when to back down.โย
The two of you shook your heads. โSo, are we still on for coffee next weekend?โ You asked him hopefully.
Seonghwa nodded immediately. โA part of me wants to move it to this weekend. I have so much to tell you. I had to tell Hongjoong three times already that no, he canโt come with me. And I told Wooyoung at least five.โย
You let out a laugh and clicked your fingers as you bounced in place. โChannie and my boys have been so pouty since I told them they couldnโt join us. I think the only ones who are chill about it are Minho, Changbin and Seungmin.โ
Seonghwaโs eyes went wide as he held his arm out to you. โSee, Jongho has been the only one who hasnโt asked to join us.โ He explained as you held onto his arm.ย
โIโm down to move the coffee date to this weekend instead.โ You offered as you squeezed his arm lightly.
The two of you walked off away from the stage and from the others. You both blocked out the sounds of Jeongin and Wooyoung, turning the conversation into a โwhoโs the better sonโ contest. You didnโt see Felix taking a picture of you both walking away, or how Chan and Hongjoong watched you both get further away, only for the duo to quickly follow after you and Seonghwa to get away from the noise.

Summary: Chan and Binnie have to deal with a pouty Jisung.
Chan and Changbin both loved and adored Jisung. He was Chanโs โFirst kidโ. He was someone Changbin could easily laugh with. Jisung was the Maknae of 3Racha. Both men would do anything for Jisung. Anything at all. But sometimes they did question why Jisung thought it was a good idea to yap to them about you, His girlfriend. The fact was, everyone could see how quickly Jisung had fallen for you. His eyes practically sparkled with tiny hearts whenever he saw you.
They both remembered the day Jisung came home, the day you asked him on a date and then asked him to be your boyfriend. He had been over the moon with happiness.ย
You were a tough woman with a kind heart. Jisung thought you were incredibly comfortable to sleep on. He also thought that you always treated him so nicely. You made him feel so cared for. He enjoyed that you babied him, but didnโt take it too far. He loved that you were protective and cuddled him, and he always felt tingly whenever you stood up for him.ย
But Jisung also knew how scary you could be. Maybe it was the muscles. Maybe it was your sharp tongue. Maybe it was because of that scary glare you got in your eyes whenever he โmisbehavedโ. Maybe it was just that he hated disappointing you. Jisung knew he could be a brat sometimes; he liked to push your buttons to see what he could get away with. When he wasnโt running to you for protection or to vent, he tended to go to Minho, Chan or Binnie.ย
Today was a day when he was being punished. The day had started so well. You looked amazing. You looked so good that Jisung had moaned right in the kitchen when he looked at you. But then he explained to you that he had a last-minute 3Racha thing, and your face fell.ย
Hyunjin had watched the entire time with a coy smirk on his face. You and Jisung had plans for the day, and he was blowing you off so he could spend yet another day with Chan and Binnie.
You were furious, you had planned the whole day, and now he was backing out? At the last second, no less. You were scary when you were angry, and well, Jisung sometimes had trouble trying to figure out if he was sad that you were angry or if he was feelingโฆlusty that you were angry.
So there he sat, in Chanโs studio, pouting. He crossed his arms over his chest, and he spread out on the couch. โHonestly, itโs not fair. She got so angry that she turned off the hot water. She made me shower in freezing water. This isnโt the zombie apocalypse!โ He whined out.
Chan and Binnie looked at one another. Both sympathetic, both trying to be supportive, but they were also judging the younger male.
Han let out a loud whine. โAnd then, right, get this. Hyunjin offered to go with her instead! And she said YES! She was chill about it, and she thanked him. Sheโs taking Hyunjin on MY DATE! That was meant to be me! They could be doing anything right now. Ahhh!โ He gasped as he sat up dramatically, arms falling slightly.
โWhat if sheโs buying him breakfast? Or what if she took him shopping! Sheโs going to spend all her hard-earned money on him! I deserve to be spoiled, not him!โ He let out a groan and flopped back on the couch.ย
Changbin shook his head lightly. โHannie, letโs be honest here. You did ditch her for us. We did tell you we could reschedule.โย
Han played the back of his right hand on his forehead as the other hand dangled off the couch. He looked like some damsel in distress. โThe love of my life, my insanely hot girlfriend, is spending time with Hyunjin and not me. I might as well just disappear!โ He was actively choosing to ignore Changbinโs statement.ย
Why?
Because it didnโt make him feel better, obviously. Duh.ย
Chan let out a small sigh. โJi, come on. Itโs not that serious. She was looking forward to today, you know that. Jinnie just didnโt want to see her disappointed. Would you be pouting if she went out with anyone else?โ
Jisung nodded his head most tragically. โYES! Of course I would. Can you imagine? If she had spent time with Seungmin, I would have lost her to baseball. If Felix asked her, then he would be getting MY cuddles. If it were Jeonginโฆwell, we all know he always gets whatever he wants. Maknae on Top and all that bullshit. And Gosh! If she had gone out with Minho?....both of my husbands? Abandoning me? Thatโs tragic!โ
Chan and Binnie looked at each other in confusion. Husbands? Han had decided you AND Minho were BOTH his Husbands. Greedy much.
Then again, Binnie couldnโt say much with how he always seemed to have the attention of Hyunjin, Seungmin and Felix. Then again. Felix had everyoneโs attention, so nothing new there.ย
Chan shook his head. โJi, Baby loves you. But you need to understand why sheโd be so upset. The three of us have been working all week. She was excited to get you to herself for the day. Instead of committing to your plans, you bailed and decided to hang out with us.โ
Changbin nodded in agreement. He rolled over to Jisung in his chair. He patted his knee. โHyunjin didnโt want her to be lonely. He isnโt the enemy here.โ
Jisung pouted as he nodded. โYouโre right. Of course, youโre right.โ He let out a tiny sigh. โBut, can I at least whine for ten more minutes? Pleeeeease?โ
Before either man could answer, Jisungโs phone pinged as he got a text.ย
He grabbed his phone and opened the text to see a picture of a bunch of bags in the boot of Babyโs car. Hyunjin had sent a message with the picture.
Dancing Ferret๐ฅ: Baby got you a bunch of gifts. Sheโs still upset a little, but youโre all she could talk about. Donโt tell her I told you about the gifts, youโre not getting them yet. But seriously, Ji, either come home now or book tomorrow off. She deserves the same amount of attention youโre giving to Channie and Binnie.ย
Jisung nodded his head. He was going to make this right. โWould you two mind if I went home?โ He asked sheepishly.
The duo groaned in unison. โGo! Make things right.โย
Jisung thanked them and got up. He practically sprinted out of the studio. He was going home to make things up to you. Because you deserved better than him flaking on you. He was better than this, and he was never going to let this happen again.

Hello! I'm new to all ur ninth member fics and I had a question about the girls do they have different ethnicities and nationalities? I was just wondering cuz Love's theme is like Paris so it just got me wondering if its just a theme or there is more to it

I hope you've been enjoying my ninth member fics. I always get a lot of joy when people get first introduced to my girls.
So, Paris is just a theme for Love. I picked Paris as it's the city of love, and I thought it tied in well with how romantic Love and Hyunjin are. It's one of the reasons I decided to give them their own apartment in Paris. The other reason is that I liked to think that Love and Hyunjin both just adore Paris and go there as often as they can. Both work-related and holiday reasons. So them owning their own place just made sense to me.
Whilst only Honey and Sweteheart have nasonalities that are set in stone, I did mention before about where I think my girls are all from. But I'm happy to talk about it again.
I'll do this in age order of my girls.
Hun: I see Hun as being Japanese. I like to think she had a big role in making their Japanese songs/albums.
Honey: Honey is English. She grew up in England. Personally, I see her being from more of the North West of England, like Lancashire, Manchester or even maybe Cheshire. But it is up to the reader to decide where in England she's from.
Baby: I haven't really picked anything for Baby for a long time. I consider Canadian, American, Taiwanese and even Thai. But a friend suggested South American, and I like the idea. I don't have a particular idea where in South America she's from. So it's whatever the reader thinks.
Doll: For Doll, I landed on Chinese. I knew I wanted one of my girls to be Japanese, one to be Korean, and one to be Chinese. But a friend helped settle on Hun being Japanese and Doll being Chinese.
However, much like Love, she has an apartment with her love interest (Minho). Their apartment is in Japan, and I just need to finish writing that story.
Love: Korean. She's Korean. I was tempted to make her French but decided against it. But we could always just say she has some French in her? Even the tiniest bit. But she is Korean. She's meant to be my 'prettiest' girl by K-pop / Korean standards.
Darling (Bug): I see Darling as being British. English mixed with Scottish, Welsh or Irish. It's up to the reader. If the reader doesn't want her to have English in her, that's fine. Nothing is set in stone.
Princess: Princess is Korean. I feel like she and Love probably lived in different parts of Korea. Maybe Love is more so from Seoul. Maybe Princess could be from Busan, Incheon, or Daegu? I suppose where exactly she's from is up to the reader. Nothing is set in stone, but I suppose her being from Busan would add to the 'Twin' thing that she and Jeongin have going on.
Sweetheart: Sweetheart is Australian. She's from Sydney, and she grew up with Felix. She's the only one of my girls to have any ties to any member before training to be an idol. She and Felix grew up as best friends and neighbours. They joined the company together.
I hope this answered your question. Of course, I try not to push any of these (except Honey and Sweetheart) as if my readers want to see one of my girls from any particular place, they can. Sometimes, I do let things slip, but yeah.

So this whole thing is based on a dream that I had. Which was basically all eight of my SKZ girls (Honey, Doll, Hun, Love, Baby, Princess, Darling and Sweetheart), along with the members of SKZ, get pulled into the SKZ Multiverse. They have to jump between verses to complete a task given to them by their Oddinary counterparts.
It's rare for me to dream and even rarer for me to remember a dream as much as I did with this one, and whilst not everything is the same as some things have been changed for the fic, I'm happy with how the process is going.
I'd like to thank @astrayapple and @niku0704 for both helping me to fill in the missing blanks that I didn't remember and for just helping me to bring this to life, and for supporting me through my no doubt annoying sweet rambles.
I would like to say this isn't an x reader fic, and I am really sorry if that puts anyone off. I think this is my first time doing a full series with all eight of my girls without one of them being an x reader.
