I’ve been thinking about Cavs and Bron. For years. It’s like having a lover since age. They yearned for each other and the universe handed this to them. So lucky yet neither of them realized what it would cost to have this dream come true. They tried and failed. And had the worst breakup. Then every time they faced each other there was only rage and hatred, but deep down both sides were hurting. The pain so intense that rings and first picks could not heal. They decided to give each other a second chance. Somehow they did it. And after all that they’ve finally come to terms that they didn’t have to be confined with each other. Love is a house with doors but not a prison. They parted way the second time because, you know, Bron is Bron and life goes on. They moved on. They have new partners, less friction, more maturity because they both learned their lessons. Nothing could replace what they had though. At the end of the day, each trip to Cleveland is coming home.

Get paid a lot of money to do that first and foremost.

And I love it. I love basketball. I love being out there with my teammates enjoying their success. And just getting that energy back is what we really need. Even from the fans, like I know it's not a lot to cheer for right now, but like we need the fans in it. That gets us going.

So when the fans are not in it, the bench has to be into it. So Larry did a really good job, and Thomas on the bench today, literally doing everything they can just trying to get some energy in the arena. Standing up, screaming from the other side of the floor, and really trying to find that energy, and that's what we really need.
