Tbh, the reason I shoot a lot of black and white content is because it usually comes out looking much better than color especially when artists use very dark lightning that wouldn't look very good no matter how much work you do on your pics. Gilinsky of @jackandjack shot in Paris, France last week. • • To be completely honest, I've been overly criticizing my work for the past few months, always looking for a flaw or something to be dissatisfied in what a produced etc...but some shots I've posted recently are definitely some of my favorites and dare I say, some of my best work. Yes, being humble is nice, but saying you create good content is good too. It's not about being humble, it's also about being realistic. As a creative, I'm constantly comparing myself and my work, my life etc to others and as I've said in another post, social media doesn't help much but we also need it to share our art, so this is where we face a dilemma. But I am proud to say that even if I still tend to be dissatisfied with some of my "creations", I am willing to learn more, and even expand and develop my skills in other areas, photography wise and other. • The reason why I never removed my YouTube channel link from my bio even if I haven't posted anything on it for like a year is because I have always planned on posting new stuff once I had more free time. And this is why I'm telling you guys that you should keep an eye out for a new cover coming on it soon. But anyway, some self reflection is a good thing to do once in a while, and I can say that my content isn't any worse than some other people I look up to, art is subjective and we got our own styles.
