POV Arguing with your criminally insane boytoy:
Homelander should be here any second now
It is so fucking funny to me how easily scandalized some people are wym callout post for a cannibalism kink. Grow up. This is the nothingburger leagues and you're throwing up in the stands
It’s actually the peopleburger leagues
Blocking for being funnier than me
one of my favorite things about dex’s bullseye suit is that it is not simply “cool gear” or a costume. it is literally a map of how his brain works. every knife, every holster, every hidden pocket, every piece of tactical clothing feels intentional. he does not just go into a fight armed. he goes into it prepared for every possible outcome.
what makes his design so interesting to me is how much it reflects his mindset. the 30 knives in his waist holsters, the blades on his arms, the chest holster, the KA-BARs on his leg, the thin blue shirt, the bullseye insignia, even the fact that he wears almost no armor at all, all of it says something. he is carrying an insane amount of weight on a body that is already injured, already in pain, and yet he is still choosing mobility, precision, and control over protection. that alone says so much about him.
to me, dex’s loadout feels less like “weapons he has on him” and more like a physical manifestation of how he thinks: layered, obsessive, exact, and built around never being caught vulnerable. even the little pockets and hidden spaces are so fascinating to me because i’d honestly love to think he has little trinkets in there too. playing cards, coins, small objects, random things most people would overlook but that he absolutely wouldn’t. because that is such a huge part of who he is: he does not just see objects for what they are, he sees what they could become in his hands.
and i think that is what makes the bullseye design so compelling. it is not only tactical. it is psychological. it is a man organizing his entire body around precision, contingency, and control. and maybe around pain, too. because once all of it is on, once the gloves are on and the symbol is there and every weapon is exactly where it belongs, it feels like he becomes something more certain than benjamin poindexter ever gets to be on his own.
bullseye is not just something he wears.
it is the version of himself that feels the most complete.
