Watching Faith walk away seemed sort of like a flash back to the break up. Just the thought of it sent an ache all the way through Blake, which Aubrey seemed to notice. “You okay, babe?” She spoke softly before embracing him, Her pale blue eyes gazing into his caramel browns. Her head was tilted upward causing her natural blonde curls to lay just above the small of her back. “Yeah. I’m fine.” He breathed, half paying attention to the actual conversation. The expression on her face shifted from bubbly to worried. Her grip tightened before she spoke once more. “Did I say something wrong? Do you want to leave?” The saddening tone in Aubrey’s voice grabbed Blake’s attention. Obviously he should be focusing on her because she is his girlfriend but he just can’t shake the whole Faith situation. Blake shifted his gaze towards Aubrey and smiled before replying. “No, you didn’t do anything wrong. We’re staying. Don’t worry, it’s alright.” He reassured before softly pecking her lips. “Let’s go say Happy Birthday to Ivan, yeah?” Blake finished his sentence before lightly tugging Aubrey along to greet his long-time best friend, Ivan. That was the whole reason they were even here. Not just for Faith, but for Ivan. Before they reached the crowded location where he was Blake caught sight of none other than Faith. With Ivan. Great. “Here we go again.” He muttered.

Ivan's birthday was gonna be the best birthday and Faith was gonna make sure it was. "Hey cutie." she said pushing her hand through her hair. As Ivan looked at her she saw his beautiful green eyes. Lets just remember that Ivan isn't so bad, and he's actually pretty attractive. This was perfect. Ivan had always wanted to do things with Faith but she never went along with is since her and Blake were together and how could she do something like that to the love of her life? Looking down she slowly came up to him and grabbed him tightly wishing him a happy birthday. "I have something for you." He smiled instantly after the hug and was going to say something to her but then looked at the present. It was a little wrapped box, in green wrapping paper. He looked down and took it opening it softly trying to be polite. His eyes grew wide noticing it was a gold watch. "How did yo-" Faith cut him off before he could say anything and said, "don't ask, just love it baby." Right then and there you could tell he was turned on because of the look in his eyes and his hands were tensing up. Right behind him Faith saw Blake and Aubrey walking up so she got closer to Ivan giving him a tighter hug and this time, Ivan was a lot more touchy and gladly, Blake came in right on time to see it. "You two having fun?" Faith said to Blake with the most victorious smile he'd ever laid eyes on.

Before Blake even gathered up the courage to answer, Aubrey replied for him. “2 months.” She said giving a smile. She raised her hand to her face, brushing a small piece of fallen blonde hair out of her eyesight. “But we were friends before that. We’re not like those basic let’s rush everything couples, right Blake?” She laughed, peering toward him. “Yeah.” He nodded in reply. After that things seemed to go downhill. You could almost see the hurt in Faith’s eyes as she took in exactly what Aubrey just said. Sure, they had broken up a while ago but nobody moves on that fast. At least not in this situation. Aubrey stood directly beside Blake with her hands brushing against his. Noticing this Blake pulled away and ran his hand through his hair as if thinking of what to say next. “So, what about you?” He asked trying to change subject, “Are you with anyone?” He bit down on his lip awaiting an answer he didn’t know if he wanted to hear. If told Blake months ago that he’d be standing in front of who he thought was the love of his life with his new girlfriend he’d probably laugh it off and call you crazy. It is crazy to think about. Two individuals who shared so many precious memories now barley want to speak to each other. Although Blake seemed so into Aubrey it was nothing like that. As cold as it sounds, She was just someone for him to need. That’s the thing about Blake, He needed to have someone there. The thought of being left alone drove him crazy. Don’t get me wrong, He did feel bad about the whole thing. Aubrey was a great girl. She’s smart, has a good sense of humor and is honestly beautiful. At times she did fill the whole that Faith once occupied. But nobody could take Faith’s place. Not in a million years.

Faith's whole world was crushed. She didn't know how to reply to something like what Aubrey had just said. Her eyes actually started to get red and since she was wearing her glasses she pretended to take them off to clean the lenses but she wiped her eyes quickly while she did it. She was beautiful, but how could Blake date someone who would try to intentionally hurt Faith like that, and he was so happy too. He didn't say anything, he just looked down so she bit her lip and tried to hold back all the tears. How could the two people who thought they'd always find their way back lose everything? All those amazing memories and laughs that they both had. The habits and the scars that they've both seen in each other. Where did it all go? Aubrey tried to go for a kiss but Blake tried to play it off and act like he didn't see it and looked into Faith's eyes. Staring at each other he knew that she cried but tried to hide it. His eyes slowly got red too. Maybe he was just uncomfortable. Not even hurt that Faith was so upset about it. She really wanted him back, all the laughs, the fights, the flaws and everything. Aubrey knew nothing. Absolutely nothing. Even though there's more than 7 million people on this earth, no one would ever be able to love and understand Blake as much as Faith did. Aubrey doesn't know how to handle Blake when he gets insecure about his future or when there's a fight at home. She slowly licked her lips forgetting that she even wore lipstick and walked away while saying "Have fun together, babe. I'm happy for you." She didn't even manage to remember that she couldn't call Blake babe anymore, and when Faith looked back, Aubrey gave a dirty look to her. She walked away to go find Ivan. Blake's best friend that's also really close to Faith. And maybe now he'll understand exactly what he's doing to her.

"C’mon, Babe." Blake muttered before sighing to himself. Today, unfortunately, was the day that Blake was going to introduce his new girlfriend to his ex girlfriend. It wasn’t exactly planned but there was no way of avoiding it. They were both going to be in the same place for the first time since the break up. Which meant there was a possibly they could salvage what friendship still remained. The blonde entwined her fingers with his before speaking, snapping Blake out of his accidental daze. Together, they walked through doors and past the crowd to the small table placed against the wall. Presumably for coats, purses and other miscellaneous items. While Aubrey removed her coat, Blake scanned the room, silently hoping Faith miraculously decided to skip out. But she didn’t because she was standing only a few feet away. Aubrey turned towards Blake and wrapped her small arms around his waist, all the while looking up towards him. "So, when can I meet her?" She asked with a grin plastered on her face. Her voice caught his attention, causing him to direct his gaze toward her. "Now." He replied before pulling her along beside him. Hesitantly, The pair made their way to the area where Faith was waiting. "Hey." Blake muttered, grabbing the attention of the brunette. Before he knew it they were facing each other with that silent awkward feeling lingering between them. "This is Aubrey." Blake managed to say before half-smiling.

"Hey, i'm Faith." Faith said not even taking a look at Blake. How could Blake do that? She thought that Blake would never think to just move on so easily and bring the new girl right to her. As hurt as Faith was, she knew that Blake didn't feel a thing. This new girl was real pretty. Blonde with an adorable smile and Blake was holding her wrist instead of her hand, just like the thing he used to do with Faith. Only Faith too. So special huh? "How long have you two been together?" Faith asked remember that he didn't even say they were together. She messed up because now she looked like she was hurt over it and that she took the time to figure out what was going on. "I mean....if you two are dating haha, you guys make a cute couple." She said trying to catch Blake's attention. He just looked at her like he was happy. Happy that she was jealous. "We are yup. Definitely." He said while he slowly kissed her on the nose. At that moment it killed Faith. That was one of those little special things they both did together. At that point she knew she had to get him back and make him feel exactly what he was making her feel. And she knew exactly how to do it. She was gonna stick with Ivan the whole night and maybe he wont do that in front of her anymore.

And there he goes with his new girlfriend. She's beautiful. Actually more than beautiful. She's making Blake laugh more than Faith ever could. Liking someone that never likes you back blows. "Hey wanna meet my new girlfriend?" Blake looked right into Faith's eyes and said it with a small grin, like he wasn't so happy. Faith gave a little smile back. "Hey i'm Faith, nice to meet you."
