To me Free Use specifically means "speculative, utopian notions of societal restructuring that destigmatizes bodies, sexual proclivities, and sexual activities such that public intimacy of all kinds is wholly accepted and rendered mundane."
How much of this to me is kink and how much of it is genuinely ideologically desirable is incredibly fluid, especially when considering what is feasible during my lifetime, vs what is feasible in a distant, utopian future, vs what is probably never going to be possible. However, I do take thinking about it very seriously even if it gives me a boner.
I am also both very autistic and very selfish about this definition and I wish people would use a different term for what seems to mostly just be slight offbeat BDSM dynamics.
