Sharing A Bed Starters
"Did you have a nightmare?"
"I had a nightmare."
"There's plenty of room for the both of us."
"There is not enough room here for both of us."
"It's cold. We should try to conserve body heat."
"You're not even going to notice because you'll be asleep!"
"We've only got the one bed between the two of us."
"Quit stealing the covers."
"Quit kicking me."
"It's better than sleeping on the floor."
"It's either this or you sleep in the tub."
"Alright. Get up here."
"We're sleeping in the same bed, not together!"
"Please go to bed."
"Sleep is for the weak."
"Do you have any idea what time it is?"
"Dutch oven!"
"You sleep on top of the sheets."
"I'll sleep on top of the sheets."
"I'm scared. Can I sleep with you?"
"You're scared? You can come sleep with me, I guess."
"I have to sleep closer to the door."
"I can't sleep this close to the door."
"Stop getting up so early. You always wake me up."
"Stop staying up so late. I can never fall asleep."
"We can cuddle."
"Just don't try cuddling me or anything."

âSleep is for the WEAK! â- And I am the weak, apparently.â
source / not accepting
â âhonestly took you the longest time to admit that.â chewing, she narrows her eyes at the chip sheâs snacking on, more interested in the detail of itâs flavour than the boy who keeps her company. then she is shoving one towards his mouth to stop him from making any arguments. ânow that makes us two, yes?â smug grin playing on her lips.
"Sorry, did I sound like I was flirting? My bad. I was just trying to be nice. I need someone to help me with cleaning up my library." [92akiva]
â âFlirting?â she scoffsunder her breath, a tinge of rose painting onto her cheeks. âI wasnât thinkingthat at all but if you needed help you could have just said so.â thoughembarrassed by her delusional self â the lie within itself â she stands herground, a hand gripping onto her sling bag tightly to bring her to ease, andher chin rises. âlead the way. what do i need to do?â she slips a snap in hertone but had no intent to sound defensive.
krystrvn:
⊠â sheâs one to hate dressing up for events like these. overflowing dresses like back then was definitely not her style at all. how could these females pull it off? all around she could see some with dresses that were wild, some that made one question what the hell was going on with their head that they wore what they wore. when she had gone over to the tables for a drink, she nearly choked on one particular guestâs dress. she quickly glanced at the female beside her, catching onto the hint of sarcasm and rolled her eyes, chuckling as she played along. â pretty sure sheâll probably knock us out with a whiff of stank feet or something else. i donât plan to lose my eyesight, thank you very much. â
âweâd probably deserve to for being so judgmental.â she says over the thought of the numerous opportunities for her eyeballs to fall out of their sockets from the amount of times she had rolled her eyes that night. there truly was a wide array of wardrobe, some not so good, some not so bad -- a few upping their game to the next level -- and here stood jian, in a simple, black, subtle high-low dress, with a low cut. after all she isnât the type to want to draw some petty attention because like she would always say to herself, comfortable is the way to go.Â
she stops a waiter walking by with a fresh tray of drinks, downing her current glass to grab another before nudging towards the stranger. âso, what brings you here today? to take advantage of the free-flow alcohol? certainly not to eyeball the worst possible outfit here today, i suppose.â a chuckle, âfor the hunks maybe?â perhaps she was becoming chatty due to the alcohol.Â
@itsjian
â âthatâs ridiculous⌠a customer should always have the choice to add milk or not. they arenât very lactose-intolerant friendly, huh?â she snorts, lips smacking into a thin line. âhow did the waitress deal with this? i hope you gave her a piece of your mind.â
â Isnât that so? And guess which one of your friends, ME, is lactose intolerant, ME, and canât go to that pretty cafe ever, ME?! U G H, I so hate it when this happens. Of course I told her a piece of my mind, if the manager was there I would have talked to him too because itâs just not normal for this to happen! God. Damn. â
--- âat least now you know that place is a no-go.â a shake of head, arms enveloped over her chest. âusually i would say not to bother yourself with them, theyâre not worth your time but, itâs really unusual for a cafe. how dare they discriminate lactose intolerancy?! if thatâs even a word. nevertheless they shouldnât make it anymore difficult for you. hmph.â
I just have such a profound need for best friend to lover AUs when both sides think there is no chance of anything ever happening.
Sharing beds together since they were little kids and never really growing out of that habit even though it now hurts to be that close to each other, knowing it will never be anything more than platonic cuddling.Â
Each of them being that one person the other goes to to feel better when theyâve had a shit day or date. Bonus if itâs 3am and they spend all night talking.
Neither of them realising how much they act like they are dating/married and getting super flustered or sad when someone asks how long theyâve been together because do you have to remind me of this painful unrequited torment I die a little more of with every passing second?
How much they make each other smile when one of them walks into a room.Â
Drunk kissing.
Practice kissing.
Going as each otherâs dates to everything because itâs âconvenientâ.Â
Wearing each otherâs pyjamas when staying over somehow becoming more arousing than if the other person was naked.Â
Having inside jokes and finishing each otherâs sentences as casual as anything.Â
Knowing random medical shit about each other. Bonus if one of them takes an allergic reaction to something and the other one just pulls out some random ass medicine like they carry it around all the time- spoiler: they do-Â just in case of this exact eventuality.Â
The heart break of seeing each other with other people but doing their best to see it through with grin and with as much encouragement as they can muster.Â
Staring a little too long at each other.Â
The awkward moment when they reach the age they said they would marry each other if they were still single.
Getting fake married as kids and family members always reminding them about it , maybe going as far as to put on the video of the fake ceremony and giving them knowing looks. Â
Something happening- a kiss, sleeping together- and getting into an argument about it, scared this is it, this is the end, that theyâve fucked up and just wishing they could talk to each other about it, to their best friend.Â
Having the best black mail material on each other but ready to pounce on anyone else who so much as dares try black mail their BFF.Â
Having a song. Having a whole playlist.Â
Laughing the first time they have sex.Â
Already having seen each other at their very worst.
Getting to say cheesy things like, âI canât believe I get to spend the rest of my life with my best friendâ or âI know Iâm marrying you butâŚdo you think I could still be in charge of your send off party? Iâve been planning this night for ten years and I will not have someone else mess those plans up.âÂ
Even after years of being together, still being in awe of the fact they get to have the one person they thought theyâd never get. The person they helped ask other people out. The person they used to give the âyou deserve someone who loves you for youâ speech to. The person they used to look at and wonder why does it have to be you? The person they look at now and think it could never have been anyone else.Â

âI want one of those. Iâll ride it into battle.â

âand what exactly could the waitress in the pretty cafe have said to disappoint your expectations? do enlighten me then we can bad-mouth them together.â
â You know, Iâve been it quite a couple of coffee places, cafes and what not but not once, and I mean THAT, not once have I been told they donât have anything milk-free besides espresso. You know? I understand putting milk in your tea, my father used to do that too, but they should just bring it in another goddamn can; not just pour it in the pot like itâs some sort of alcoholic drink! UH! It just makes me horribly angry. And she was so rude too! â
--- âthatâs ridiculous... a customer should always have the choice to add milk or not. they arenât very lactose-intolerant friendly, huh?â she snorts, lips smacking into a thin line. âhow did the waitress deal with this? i hope you gave her a piece of your mind.âÂ

Jihae strated regretting her decision even before she had helped the other to stand up and with every step the girl was making it only worse, as if rubbing her foolish mistake into the officerâs face. The woman cursed quietly under her nose as she struggled to get the drunk girl to her apartment. It was definitely a challenge to make her lie down on the back seat but what was a real Everest climb, was to get her all the way to the fourth floor where her apartment was. âWhy did i even decide to help her? Iâm not that good of a person, what was that crazy act. Seriously, Jihae. What is your problem? You could have had a peaceful evening but you decided to save the girl.â She exhaled her annoyance with herself as she grumbled after rushing around, looking for the blankets and a bucket (just in case does end up feeling sick) for the stranger girl. The crazy night was almost over and she was both happy and irritated because she had to wake up for work in a couple of hours.Â
--- the aftermath of a long night of drinking for jian, or for anyone in general, is never pleasant. consciousness began to kick her off out of a dream that is instantly forgotten, taken over by a pulsating pain rushing towards her head mixed with the distasteful stench of alcohol. the sharp pain has her doubling over, eyelids remaining tightly shut as a groan audibly rumbles from her chest. still unaware of her location, where she lays, she rolls over to shift her weight and instead she meets the floor with a thud, only adding more to her pain now as she gently fists at the parts of her body that was met with the impact and only then she faces her reality, eyes snapping wide open and concentrated (trying, at the least) on whatâs in front of her. shortly after her eyes nimbly wander her surroundings, her hands run over her chest and immediately felt a tiny bit more at ease with her clothing scrunched up into her fist â glad that she hadnât given herself to a stranger once again, or had she? for all she knows she may have retreated to the couch after the deed, however she liked the idea that maybe someone was just considerate enough to tolerate her actions from the previous night and take her in. jian knows what sheâs like after a couple of drinks, definitely. she has heard many stories from her friends and fortunately enough, she has never woken up in an unfamiliar place until now.
jian doesnât get up straight away instead she remains on the floor to let the pain that surges throughout her body subside before her bowels vocally signal the urge to use the bathroom. her moves are sluggish, a hand clamped against her temple, the other by the cushion of the couch as she props herself onto a knee then on to her two feet. instantaneously and all too quickly, her hand smacks her mouth shut as her stomach flips and head continues to spin. the bucket that had been provided is knocked over as jian rushes towards the first door she sees hoping that itâs the bathroom. luck isnât always on jianâs side however, and before she can retreat from the current room she is on all fours, belching.Â

â How can they DARE to say that? Honestly I could not understand, in the first place, why people WERE NOT excited about such a pretty cafe but now that I exchanged five words with the waitress, I guess I know. â
âand what exactly could the waitress in the pretty cafe have said to disappoint your expectations? do enlighten me then we can bad-mouth them together.âÂ
djinii:
NEXT UP, @itsjian !!
â ⌠like, i mean, i understand why my mother wants me to diet but look at this !! â to prove her point, her fingers nimbly worked to remove the lid of the ( very small ) lunchbox her mother had packed for her to show her the other girl. in it, there were four tiny rolls of chungmu kimbap with some vegetables and fermented kimchi on the side. while it didnât taste as bad as it sounded, it wasnât very filling in the least. for someone who very much still considered herself a growing girl, she needed an ample amount of carbohydrates to keep herself going. â isnât this ridiculous ? and this is supposed to be for the whole day ! iâm thankful that sheâs looking out for me and all but arenât i skinny enough ??do i really need to be any thinner to be more famous ? â
--- jian could not repress the sullen look that claims her features, leaning over the table, chin nestled against the cup of her palms, and lips puckered as her face scrunches up â being able to relate to her friendâs complaints. she was never plump as a kid to start with, and it wasnât because she was picky because heck she could eat anything she could get her hands on, it was primarily due to her mother. unlike other mothers that find joy when their children ask for second and thirds, jianâs mother was the type to limit their servings. but now that she lives on her own, and though she does miss the magical hands of her mother, itâs a feast for whenever jian calls for. so when the other girlâs lunch is presented in front of her she cannot help but feel woe especially since she thought genie was already as small as she could get.
âit is ridiculous, has she ever thought that she could go a day with just⌠this?â she scowls, the palm that rests under her chin flicks pointedly towards the lunchbox. âlook, this isnât healthy. my heart aches when youâre being restricted from what you want and sorry, i donât mean to interfere with your career but your health should always be your priority. everyone knows that and once again, iâm sorry if youâve heard this over and over, from this and that person. iâm no dietitian but i wouldnât mind talking to your mother on your behalf.â She exhales a hefty sigh, eyebrows creasing together from concern. dieting â jian knows what itâs like, sheâs been there and done that. maintaining the diet? difficult, thus she gives it to genie for keeping it up.Â
âlook you donât even need to worry about your figure. youâve always looked amazing.â jian decides sulking isnât going to get them anywhere, her previous expression is replaced as she flashes a teethy grin, arms folding over chest as she leans in closer. âhow about i grab you something sweet to follow that meal? it wonât be too heavy, i promise.â Â Â
