Just a wee press release I had written for me which is currently being shared in order to draw attention to DJCAD's annual Degree Show.

Finally weaving.
I sandwiched my collected individual pieces of craft between the warp and then wove around them to secure them in place.
I had a large warm bulb installed in the centre of my structure so it emits a welcoming glow and resembles an old fashioned lampshade.
I'm weaving with strips of charity shop clothes like I have done previously. This material allows me to create a multicoloured landscapesque weaving.
Testing out my surface transducers. They basically have turned the entire metal structure of my loom into a huge speaker that will be playing a constant audio of my gathered Doric recordings.
Warping up my loom and painting the light cotton thread that I had used with a black acrylic paint wash to darken it.
