What I’m Loving About Olicity in Season 4
I think it’s pretty safe to say that so far season 4 has been pretty perfect as far as Olicity has been concerned.
What I love is how quietly in love they are.
There’s a comfortableness to them. An ease.
It’s the way they’re silently there for each other. They communicate without words.
It’s the way that nothing has really changed… They are as much of a team now as they were before they were together. (Except they kiss now.)
They still encourage each other and say exactly what the other needs to hear.
It’s the way that they touch while they’re working, not blatant public displays of affection. It’s comforting and small. It’s content and filled with happiness.
And the way that Oliver notices Felicity’s silence and wants to know what she’s thinking… even if it may not be what he wants to hear.
The way Felicity surprises Oliver (and turns him on) with her bravery and strength.
And the way Oliver tries Felicity’s cooking, even though it’s terrible.
It’s not “I” or “me” it’s “we”. It’s planning a future together.
Or the way Oliver walks right towards Felicity… not caring if the danger is still there… To make sure that she’s okay first.
They are a team. Just like they’ve been from the very beginning.
Only now… they have someone to go home to.
It’s the way they’re still getting to know one another
It’s amazing… And I really can’t wait to see what comes next
