I have no idea what was the point of this dialogue
Anyway, I think someone asked a while ago why I gave Arthur some scars on his face. And let me tell you, Arthur had just so many near-death experiences during the show. If not for merlin, this man would be DEAD like 50 times over.
I refuse to believe that someone with as little self preservation as Arthur would be able to get out of every situation unscathed. Also i think it looks cool

reverse
this duty–
i think
denial makes
shapes
in me, this dirt
this reckless design,

to judgment
to shattered

right column, Flint's poem reads:
with grace, loss
beyond terror.
take away
histories
so i can mold
in sharp certainty,
a dark and cruel vice.
of my legend,
my fortress of shame,
i continue to raise
a hammer
that sings soft,
hollow echoes of
a bird, in mourning.
the combined poem reads:

of all begins with all consuming fires beyond terror.
