Food Tour (Baby Brasa, Bleeker Street Pizza, Ivan Ramen)

My New York City food tour started this weekend, which included Lomo Saltado at Baby Brasa, then eating an entire pizza pie at Bleeker Street Pizza and feeling sick after. I’m going to miss this ramen spot — and New York is going to miss my ridiculously big appetite.

Favorite New York City Landmark: Lincoln Center

Because of my love for ballet, this has always been my favorite New York landmark. My not so secret place where I’d go to be happy and where I’d go to be sad. This evening, I just sat here wondering how one can say goodbye to this... or this city — and everything and everyone in it. Maybe it also takes courage to leave it after 30+ years (even for a little while).

Dear New York

Dear New York,

I’ll miss you, but first - we’ve got a bucket list of people to see, places to go, and things to sell. In the next 100 days, I’m going to use Tumblr as a platform to share my journey - saying goodbye to New York and saying hello to my new home: San Francisco, including trips I have lined up (London, Paris, Tanzania, Woodstock, Miami, Cape Cod, Boston, and wherever else life will take me this spring and summer).
