A few months ago I had epiphany. I realized that at 25 I wasn’t exactly where I wanted to be in life. (nothing new, I know)

I had lost sense of my passion and was just living to make it to the next day. The next day of work, the next day of bills, the next day of whatever bullshit I had to go through. Somewhere between adulting and trying to find my way, I temporarily put my dreams aside with the intentions of ridding myself of the obstacles that stood in the way of all the things I wanted to accomplish. Only it wasn’t temporary, it was indefinite. I had lost sight of the things that made me me.

But with the help of my mentor, my friends, and of course my love I rediscovered my passion and suddenly living for the next day changed to chasing tomorrow.

This picture sort of embodies that journey for me. I’m on a path, and I see many things ahead of me; sometimes it seems overwhelming and sometimes I feel inadequate, but now I’m ready, and I’m only getting better.

Introducing my first attempt at 35mm film photography. And I’m damn proud of it.
