There's a sort of belief that because we now have politicians that are less dog whistle, more megaphone, that you have to look on the previous evil ones with romanticism goggles on. And frankly, that's the kind of thinking that gets you right here. You can't forgive people for the heartlessly cruel and evil things they've done just because they aren't currently in-office making jokes about it and uploading AI videos onto social media. They still have evil in their hearts. They should still rot. Anyway, all of this to say, I wasn't upset to hear Dick Cheney died.
