This is a Siskakia Fashion Muslim Women Abaya Spring Dress. This picture was taken back during my brother’s Wedding, one year ago. It is a long dress that touches the floor. This is a perfect dress for Muslim sisters because it really covers the body, covers the needed to cover in the parts of the body. As we all know that Muslim sisters are not allowed to show their body because it is Haram. It suits the taste of the Muslim sister’s fashion. 

We have actually a pair dress with my sister on this day. A yellow one for me and violet for her, and paired with a long necklace that is also paired with the color of our Hijab and dress. Of course, we will not forget the Hijab, it is also paired with our dresses color. Muslims were instructed to wear dresses modestly, and that is a Hijab, a woman covering herself so that a man should know her for her mind, not her body. We were told not to showcase our body because it is Haram and our body is not for the eyes of everyone but only for the eyes of our Iman, our future husband.

Its Showtime is a noontime variety show from Monday to Saturday. There first premiered was in October 2009. Every time that I get a chance to watch television, the first thing that I will watch is “Its Showtime” I always admire there bonding and funny moment, it is not scripted so it comes out naturally, not like the other variety show that it looks like scripted or somewhat awkward. 

I love how Jhong and Vhong make pranks on Vice Ganda. Given that Vice Ganda is already a comedian, it adds more the show to become funnier than it is. I love how Vice Ganda’s mind works quickly to crack a joke and make people laugh. I like how Vice Ganda insult people in a Joke way, in short, I love how Showtime makes the madlang people laugh. 

When I have a lot of problems in my mind and sometimes I needed a break, I just watch this show and it enlightens my mood and makes me forget my problems by laughing at there jokes and pranks. Life is full of challenges, obstacles and other craps in life but do not forget to laugh! Laughter is the best medicine, madlang people! So face the challenges in life with a big smile! :)

Behind the Curtains

Sometimes, a person who always smiles does not mean a happy person. It is hidden. 

Parents are the very first person who teaches us, without them we are nothing. This is my parents, from the very beginning of my life they are already there, always ready to guide me in the right path in every journey of my life. But one day, I got sick of it, I mean I really really appreciate their support and I am very thankful for it. But their guidance makes me pressured, their expectation about my career in the future makes me overthink a lot, it makes me worry a lot and a lot of what ifs. I don’t really blame it to them, I know what they did today is just for my own sake too, but we are just a human, we are not perfect, we feel tired, we feel to have a break from all the craps in life. And that’s what I have been feeling for this last few years, I really feel the pressure and their high expectations about me and I don't know how to deal with it.

I don't blame them nor hate them, but I blame myself. Sometimes, I blame myself that the reasons why are they like that it is because from the very beginning of my school years, kindergarten, they already saw the potential on me that I will be there breadwinner. They already saw that I am very focused on my studies and that maybe think of them like that. Of course, as a child, it is an initiative that you will strive hard to at least, worthy of your parent's hardship. I hate to see them disappointed on me, I am scared that pursuing my passion will lead to disappointment to them. Although we don't really talk about this, but,  I don't know, I just feel like I need to please them. 

That’s why I am very proud of those people who doesn't mind to fail or somewhat fail in their academic. But after all, I still love my parents for they are the first reason why I am still striving hard. They are my weakness at the same time my strength.

Villa Lacida Beach Resort - Iligan City

Villa Lacida Beach Resort is located at Linamon, Lanao del Norte. It is a beach resort where you and your families can have fun with. It is a very nice place if your family is planning to have a reunion. You will enjoy the view of the beach and it is very relaxful and you will surely feel the air. 

You can actually swim in the sea and also they have a swimming pool too! You can swim in the swimming pool if you don’t want the sea but this swimming pool is for kids. It is made for kids so that parents who want to visit in here and wants there child to swim they will worry no more if their child will be drowned. Also, they offer a “ bangka boat ” which you will only pay 20 pesos per head. They will tour you and let you see what's in the middle of the sea. And if you also want to dive in while you're in the bangka, they will let you. 

This is a very nice place for a family bonding and this summer, let your child or family have a break. Let your child have a reward for surviving their school year. Feel the breeze of the summertime and have a good bonding with each other! Happy break everyone!

Duterte signs free tuition law

Despite opposition from his economic managers, President Duterte on Thursday signed a law granting tuition-free education in all state universities and colleges (SUCs), a move hailed by lawmakers who now have the task of looking for ways to fund the measure.

President Duterte signed a law granting tuition-free education in all state universities and colleges (SUCs) on August 3, 2017.  Republic Act 10931 or "Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act," which Congress ratified in May and was transmitted to the Office of the President on July 5, gives full tuition subsidy for students in State Universities and Colleges (SUCs), local universities and colleges, and state-run technical-vocational schools.

The law also covers other charges, namely "library fees, computer fees, laboratory fees, school ID fees, athletic fees, admission fees, development fees, guidance fees, handbook fees, entrance fees, registration fees, medical and dental fees, cultural and other similar or related fees."

This law is very helpful for the Filipinos especially to those family who can not afford to get their child into Universities. There are many cases that youths cannot proceed to tertiary level because of financial problem, but through this law, they have given a chance to proceed with their dreams. Education is very important especially to the youth as it is the only tressure that their parents will give to them. I am also happy about this law because now I cannot have a hard time thinking as to where am I going to enroll and what universities and colleges have a lower tuition fee. At least the future of the youth will not be ruin because of some financial problem.

Meranao Snacks Are As Delicious As You Can Imagine

Meranao snacks are as delicious as with the rest of the Philippines but they’ve never really gone into wide appreciation especially from the Meranao community. Nibbling snacks is a daily and filling affair among Filipinos. And the Meranaos are no exceptions to this. In fact, their appetite for it is as huge as their kitchen full of sweet goodies. Locally called “mamis”, this bunch of sweet snacks is characterized by wicked use of cassava, banana, and coconut in an overload of sugary variations.

One of these delicious snacks from Meranao brothers are the Tiateg, Dodol, and Broa. Eating Tiateg feels like eating fried wire mesh because of how it looks like but Tiateg is actually a medley of rice flour, egg and coco milk. It is perforated to create all those tiny holes. It is deep-fried and once cooled, it is dowsed in syrup and rolled. Of course! I know this snack Dodol is something familiar with you, Dodol is the icon of all Maranao confections. It is made from sticky rice flour, coconut milk, and jaggery or traditional raw sugar from sugarcane. Dodol takes about 8 hours of nonstop stirring to keep it from burning and to maintain its thick and no-stick consistency. While it’s everywhere in Lanao del Sur, the best that I’ve tasted are the ones with durian from Masiu, I suggested you should try it too! Lastly, the Broa, if you were to give a present from Lanao del Sur, I suggest you should buy boxes of broa! This delicious snack is no stranger to any foodie, coming in with different names like broa, ladyfinger cookie or sponge biscuit. In Lanao del Sur, especially the Saguiaran version comes in spongy but compact bite-size cakes and not the crunchy cookie type. It is best paired with tea or coffee. 

The Meranao brothers truly love sweet snacks! Forget about the other sweet snacks because theirs are more delicious and just perfect on their own. It is just sad to say that there are only a few non-Merano knew about this, but I just wished that everyone could taste it too!

The HAMBOGest Author, MAXINE LAT known as MAXINEJIJI.

A Filipino bestselling author of the famous wattpad story HE’S INTO HER with almost 300 million reads in wattpad for 3 seasons.  

Maxinejiji or Maxine Lat Calibuso in real life is a Filipino writer who wrote the famous Wattpad series “He’s Into Her”. Her works are published under Life is Beautiful (LIB Creatives)/Pastrybug which is also a part of Precious Pages Corporation. She is 31 years old and born on  March 18, 1987. She lives in Carmona, Cavite but due to her work as a Nurse in Kuwait, she now lives in Kuwait. Joined wattpad in September 2012 and is better known as the HAMBOGest author of wattpad but is the most humble author in real life. She has a large fanbase of readers popularly known as JIJIES and one of the few Filipino authors with 1 million followers on wattpad. She finished He’s Into Her in wattpad on February 18, 2017, after writing it for almost 5 years

Aside from He’s Into Her Season 1-3, she also wrote Poser, The Wishful Thinker, Maglaway Ka Man Sa Akin, Love Without Limits and Project M and published 43 books for He’s Into Her alone. Held her first ever book signing at Fisher Mall on March 1, 2014, to launch He’s Into Her Season 1 Book 1. On September 2014, she signed a deal at ABS-CBN compound for He’s Into Her to be turned into a motion picture/ TV series. Her other wattpad novel entitled Poser was made into a TV series in TV5’s Wattpad Presents and was top-billed by Chanel Morales and Akihiro Blanco aired last October 2014. 

According to her, she classifies herself more as Deib Lohr Enrile (protagonist of the story He’s Into Her) rather than Maxpein Zin del Valle (protagonist of the story He’s Into Her) because of her very outgoing and funny personality.
