You need to know who you are and what you think of yourself, your emotions shouldn't influence what you think about yourself and who you are because who you are is more than that, there's attributes that and skills about you that are objective and don't change, objectively you have some skills, they don't change
There's a part of you that's receiving the criticism and getting hurt and in pain and it's not good or helpful
There's a part of you doing the criticisms, it appears that the intention is to teach a lesson to be better and learn from mistakes, but the criticism doesn't work, you need to critique the process not the person
Need to stop the kicking and instead make the motivation bigger, doesn't help to trash talk yourself then get stuck in self pity
There's anxiety, then there's the catastrophising you do that then leads to panic attacks.
Dealing with science is easier cause it's just me but relationships involve another individual
When you reprieve disappointment by others and feel bad for yourself, you're actually disrespecting their emotions and what hey're actually feeling
There's true disappointment by them, that might not have anything to do with you, i.e. did they have true and fair expectations coming into the situation
There's the disappointment you assume that they don't feel
You're projecting disappointment to protect yourself from others' disappointment
The disappointment and criticising in self is like a tree, you're at the high branches and as you practice and focus on not doing that Critiquing the process instead, you're getting deeper and more confident... More confident with your actions and way of dealing and coping
Work, play, dream
You're assuming you have the power to strongly influence someone else's emotions and mood, that's not necessarily true
But you are also giving them the power to ruin your mood and emotions, which you can actually change/control
You can't control other's thoughts, judgements, emotions, you can control your own
There's others emotions and there's yours, we need to work on separating the two
Your inner self is linked with others around you, we need to separate the two. This'll bring calm and settlement to inner self
Listen to the inner self
Be honest with yourself
Take a moment to listen to inner self, what does it need, what would help vs wouldn't help
You need to learn to trust and have confidence with the decisions you make. Your opinions/thoughts/ideas
What do you get when you let the best of you take over rather than the worst of you, like with issues and walls, the best of you deals with it better, learns, moves on without causing sadness or pain
