i barely use this blog anymore - but i just wanted to get this out to the void of nothingness -

the ‘mysterious woman’ character in Beef just felt hurtful.

I know the character is based on a character from an existing children’s series.

I am just so, so tired of seeing big noses and wavy hair correlated with ‘evil’ and ‘ugly.’

I had been raving about this show for the past week to literally everyone. (Because, like, Ali Wong and Steven Yeun? Fuck. Yes. They are so incredibly talented!) But I watched the last couple episodes of the series last night (and now also found out about all of the awful David Choe stuff, as well,) and now i just... :(
