Current hyperfixation is the grishaverse but specifically the crows and how good of a casting job they did with the characters in Shadow and Bone. They were by far the best part of the show and I keep rewatching their specific scenes

Au where Simon has a flower shop and his best friend Wille is head over heels for him except it’s Wille, so he doesn’t tell Simon how he feels about him and instead shows his love by supporting his best friend’s shop. So he keeps on buying flower bouquets but he can’t let Simon know it’s to support him because he knows he wouldn’t really agree with it, he wants real customers, Wille, not for my rich friends to pity me and spend their money on me. So Wille tells him it’s because he’s going on a date. Every time. And he lets Simon choose what flowers go into the bouquets.
On the other side you have Simon who’s head over heels with his best friend, one who keeps on going onto dates with other people. So through flower language he creates bouquet that hopefully will let Wille’s date know this isn’t gonna work, even if he wants his friend to be happy. But he wants his friend to be happy with him, dammit.
Someone mentions something about flower language to Wille (perhaps Felice? Who’s on the receiving end of all the bouquets because Wille isn’t going on dates and if she’s going to hear him moan about how pretty and kind and perfect Simon is, she might as well get nice flowers out of it?) and Wille, who’s curious about what Simon could possibly mean in his bouquets, realizes that they all basically tell Wille’s "dates" to take a step back, or to go to hell, or whatever flowers can say.
Wille thinks that this could be his chance to get Simon. He can maybe start asking for specific flowers, sending Simon a message about how much he is in love with him. And if Simon doesn’t return his feelings, Wille can say that he has no idea what flower language is.
Except that it backfires, of cours it does, because Simon thinks that Wille has found a date he actually really likes and is trying to seduce them some more with flower language. Angst ensues, Wille complains even more to Felice about how Simon is returning his feelings, this is proof Felice, he hasn’t said anything about the flowers it has to mean he’s letting Wille down by ignoring him completely. Felice knows better, both because she’s Felice and because Simon is moaning to Sara about Wille having seriously found someone else.
It takes Felice and Sara to knock their heads together (metaphorically or not) for them to realize that maybe using flower language to communicate their love wasn’t the most effective. They get together, of course, and Felice keeps on getting her pretty flowers, of course.
Lol wasted no time in making this blog once I devoured season 1💀 3 years wooooooo

AU where Simon is a successful streamer. Linda visits him at his apartment once and finds his fridge empty. It’s the last straw, she can’t see her boy not feed himself well enough anymore. Since Simon is making good enough money for it, she forces him to hire a private chef so that he can at least have some good home cooked meal a few times a week. Simon doesn’t want to, but Linda is Linda so he ends up agreeing. However, he lets her choose who it will be because he doesn’t want to deal with it.
Linda interviews a few people and settles on this nice young man (if she thinks he might be Simon’s type, and she would love for him to have someone else in his life… well that’s no one’s business but her own). Enter Wilhelm, Simon’s new private chef, who comes in a few times a week to make him lunch and dinner. What starts as awkward nods every time Simon comes out of his streaming room forgetting a stunning man will be standing in his kitchen turns into small talk at the kitchen counter, watching the way Wilhelm works the dough of whatever he is making for Simon this time around. It later turns into Simon inviting Wille to eat with him, because it sucks a bit to eat all those fancy meals by himself. They become friends after that, blurring the lines between working relationship and friendship, which on a late night after a good meal… turns into more than that.
Wille stops being Simon’s private chef after that, but that’s alright because his new boyfriend turns out to be quite the cook. Linda is forever smug her plan worked. She hadn’t meant to find Simon a boyfriend, but when she saw Wille she knew she should take the chance.

But Wilhelm Svensson being one of the hottest boys of Hillerska is news to nobody, especially Simon who has been managing the confession account and has seen many of the “anonymous” confessions singing Wille’s praises. The sky is blue, the grass is green, and everybody wants to climb Wille like a tree. Duh.
And apparently, the sentiment might be reciprocated in Simon's case.

@youngroyals-events Here is my little contribution to kick off Wille’s month. The prompt was ‘sandwich.’
Wille always uses too much butter. He always uses too much butter and then has to scrape the crumb covered remnants back into the tub. He slices the cheese too thinly, too, and the cucumber slices too thick. ‘A bit messy,’ according to Simon. Some things never change.
And some things change more than you could ever imagine. Wille doubts he’d even recognise that boy now, the one who’d always hidden all of himself, slowly inching out into the light, slipping a sandwich under the desk to his secret lover. Prince Wilhelm feels forever ago, a character in a story he tells about other people.
He finishes up and wraps the sandwich in two napkins, as is their tradition. It’s not a long journey. The sun rose about an hour ago, bathing the hills in warm golden light. He’d laughed when Simon first mentioned retiring to the country. They’d looked at so many houses, bickering good naturedly the whole time, but now he has to admit, he does enjoy the quiet.
He parks the car by the gates and walks stiffly up the narrow path. One foot in front of the other. Things take him longer, now. He spreads the picnic blanket out and settles himself onto it. His knees can just about manage a few minutes.
The headstone is beautiful. Understated and elegant. A choice he wishes he’d never had to make, but a good choice, nonetheless. He reaches into his jacket pocket, smiling as he brings out the little parcel wrapped in purple.
“Hi Simon,” the grass is real, here. Lush and damp with dew between his fingers, “I brought you a sandwich.”
