Elections
I have refrained from talking about this on social media until just now. It's a lot to take in and I'm hoping this election motivates people to vote next year. Every vote makes a difference. Every vote counts. Hopefully we can make it through these next few years in peace. Be safe. :)

Hey! UPDATE and QUESTION
So, I’m not that active on this... because my life is utterly boring. I figured I’d do a little blurb to get you all caught up with my life and the life of my girlfriend/ex/friend... we’re on a break at the moment. We’re both still planning to meet once we are capable and we’re both still very much supportive and loving towards each other, but she was dealing with depression and stuff like that and wanted to get help for herself before she went forward with a relationship, which I fully agree. While she’s doing that, I’m going to work on myself, my anxiety and self-image problems. :)
Anyway, I was just thinking...
Do you guys know any books/comics/movies/short films etc regarding long distance relationships? I’ve only come across one, a movie that may still be on Netflix... I watched it a few years ago though and I can’t remember the name. :/ It didn’t have a happy ending anyway, so I wasn’t too thrilled about that. xD

Alright, so our anniversary was a few days ago.
I can’t get over how her and I met. We met on the omegle site, which I hadn’t used since high school. I happened to not be able to sleep and remembered the site, so I jumped on late at night and skipped through several people due to uh... what they wanted from the conversation. Though, that’s what you generally get from those sites. I came across my now girlfriend and she told me to be normal. I made a witty joke of some sort and it sparked a conversation. We shared the same type of humor and our relationship grew from there. Within 4 months we were talking about having a serious relationship. I hated the idea of an online/long distance relationship, because I had tried that with my ex ‘cause we had to go to different college... It wasn’t something I was crazy about, but this girl... we had such a connection. Like, I could have not remembered omegle that night... I could have just went and watched youtube until I fell asleep, like I usually do. I could have skipped her, or her me... it was fate. I don’t generally believe in that bullshit, but when it happens to you... when you experience it, it’s hard to argue that fate didn’t play a part. (still kind of bullshit, but makes me happy). Reminds me of my favorite film, 500 Days of Summer - watch it if you haven’t yet. :)
anyway, enough rambling.
I can't wait for this to be my girlfriend and I. It may take everything we have, but as long as I can go to bed every night knowing I make her happy, it's worth it.

So, recently, before I go to bed my girlfriend will play music for me as I fall asleep. It’ll either be her favorites or mine and she’ll sing along. :)
Dude. My girlfriend and I talk about this all the time. If we have a long/hard day, we talk about how great it would be to come home, curl up next to each other, and watch repeats on Netflix.
Finally got a new phone!!!
This. I stay up till 1-2 am every night just to say good morning to my girlfriend. And I know she stays up late for me... Even after working all day.
Bad News...
For whatever reason, my girlfriend got denied her visa. Her and I haven’t really talked about it, we’re both just digesting the fact that we won’t be able to see each other this summer as we had planned. I’ve tried being supportive, but this is really taking a toll on me as well and it’s difficult. Right now, we’re taking a break I guess? I’m not really sure...
I’m trying to think of ways that we could make it work for me to visit her or her to come here. Even if we do visit, we don’t want to start a home where she lives, because it’d be extremely dangerous for us to... and us being college students and just dealing with crap, it’s hard.
Anyway, I just wanted to give you that update. :/
