last year i played around with different zine formats/ways to get creative with page layout. this design resulted in two distinct halves around a center spine, so i thought it'd be fun to add in a 90º rotation as well.

I hope this isn't a controversial opinion, but I would rather have my tax dollars go to people fraudulently using SNAP benefits than have a single person go hungry. And I mean real fraud, not selling food stamps to buy tampons or any of that. I wouldn't care if half of the people receiving SNAP benefits didn't really need them if it meant everybody in the US had enough food to eat. It's food stamps. That's the exact kind of thing taxes are supposed to be for. Food isn't supposed to be a privilege or a luxury.

The ideal scenario, of course, would be that 100% of people do not require food assistance because food is necessary to live.

Everybody on discord has been seeing the work in progress for the last few weeks, but here he is finished, taped, and off my pegboards. I won't be ironing him any time soon, though. I've got a bunch of smaller projects to do first, I think. Total size is 15" wide and 17" tall; about 3 pegboards in either direction.

I did discover that the perler brand mini pegboards are *not* compatible with the artkal boards, which is slightly annoying- but I don't plan to do any more really big pieces like this again, so hopefully it won't matter much.
