I’ve brought back my tumblr after a two year hiatus. there were things I wanted to put on other forms of social media (Twitter/instagram/Snapchat) that I wanted some people to see, but a lot of others not to see. So maybe this will help? Idk yet.....we shall see. Still debating on deleting other social media forms, most likely I won’t but I won’t really post on them. Except insta, I still fuck with insta.

About three years ago I got curious and searched for my biological father on facebook (the man I consider “dad” is actually my stepfather). To my surprise I found him. I knew because he had posted one of my baby photos. Even more to my surprise I wrote him a letter and sent it through messenger. A typical “Hey, I think you’re my dad. If you are, I’ve been doing well yada yada yada” kind of thing. I wasn’t expecting a response and I didn’t get one.

Until yesterday.

Three years later he answers and sends me a friend request. I have not replied to either yet. I had totally moved on from it and continued to carry on with my life. But I do not know what to do now. Based off the limited information I can see on his profile, he doesn’t really seem like a great person, but I know that shouldn’t really stop me. It’s not like I grew up without a dad wondering where he was either, I had my step-dad all these years. I just don’t know if this is a can of worms I want to open right now.
