Julian tried to force a smile as Rose entered, and he watched the door as it closed, hoping for it to not be too loud. “It would be great if you had some, actually.” Julian flipped around in his bed, and was now facing Rose. Perhaps it was because he was still tired, or it was because he was still intoxicated, but Julian felt differently about Rose than he did the week previous. The party had changed something in himself and his feelings for the girl - though Julian presumed it was just the alcohol speaking. Trying to lift his head from the pillow, the Ravenclaw sighed a little before sitting up and placing the tray onto his lap. He swallowed a couple of the tablets and drunk some water before picking up the spoon that Rose had kindly given him to eat some soup. “You didn’t need to do this, Rose. I would have gotten up eventually, you know.”

"You're in luck then." Rose said as she tried to make herself comfortable in the seat after placing down the tray for him. She wasn't too sure how easy it would be to talk to Julian as he dealt with his hangover, but she was willing to deal with it all for his company.

Placing her hand on her head as she rested her elbow on the desk, Rose tilted her head up to be able to talk to him. "Eventually is the key word there." The Gryffindor commented, flashing a smile at him. "How do I know that 'eventually' isn't in three days?" Although she knew that once his hangover was cured he probably would go down for food, Rose couldn't help but make a small joke out of it. "I also didn't have any homework to do, I figured why not, right?"

Dominique reached across the table to poke the muscle that came up, giggling helplessly, “Don’t be daft. There’s room for a couple brain cells at all.” She tried to conjure up an image of Terri, and thought she remembered her, at the next comment she froze for a half second, then smoothed over the tension she felt. Jealousy was an emotion she was intimately familiar with… but Rosie was her cousin and Julian was her best friend. She shoved it down to where she kept anything that didn’t make her happy.She shrugged at the next question, “I made snacks for some people, just sort of wandered around, I guess… I uh-” Her voice lowered to an almost inaudible tone, “I kissed someone.”

The Gryffindor couldn't help but laugh at the touch of her muscle and her comment. "I'm not too sure about that. I'm pure muscle." Rose joked before taking a small sip of her coffee. She knew Dominique and Julian were closer than close, but what she didn't know is how Dominique would react to Rose and Julian being friends with each other. It was honestly something she was worried about. Rose didn't want Dominique to be mad at her, and if she was to be completely honest- Rose didn't know what she would do if Dominique was mad at her. At the first words of her sentence, Rose moved forward to hear what her cousin was saying. As soon as the words uttered from her mouth, Rose gasped "What? Who? Tell me everything!"

"Merlin’s Beard Rose!" Dominique started to laugh, grabbing her her cousin’s hand to drag her over to the Cafe, "You’d think Gryffindors were all chimps and muscles the way you talk about them." When they had settled in and Dominique had cut each cupcake carefully in half so they could both try them, she glanced at Rose with a look that on anyone else would be described at wicked. "So, tell me about where you were during the party. I only saw you a few times."

"That's basically all we are!" Rose joked, "Have you seen my mucles?" Rose sat at one of the cafe tables after the two had picked the cupcakes they wanted to try and ordered their coffees. "I was with Terri for a bit- I'm pretty sure you know who she is." Rose said, her comment coming out sounding like it was a question. "Then I was with Julian for a bit, I went back to the common room after that." She then said, finishing her sentence with a nod. "What did you do?" Rose asked.

Dominique leaned her head on her cousin’s shoulder for a moment. She wasn’t always sure how to tell someone you appreciated them being themselves, but generally she preferred to do quiet things. She glanced around the surrounding stored and shrugged, “Coffee and cupcakes makes? We’ll need some fuel to get started, right?”

Rose gasped as the idea escaped from Dominique's lips, "That's an amazing idea!" Rose exclaimed, "Honestly, i'm so glad you're a Ravenclaw. I don't think i'd be blessed with these ideas otherwise." The Gryffindor said, as an attempt to compliment her cousin. Rose started to walk to Brews and Stews Café to get the cupcakes that she promised Dominique and the coffee for the both of them.

"Yeah." Dom rolled her eyes, "I was the idiot who insisted I wouldn’t be drinking anything too strong and would be perfectly fine to do the rounds. I don’t foresee much going wrong but… I promised.”

The two Weasley cousins arrived in Hogsmeade mere minutes ago, and were currently walking arm in arm down the streets as they figured out which store to go to first. There were many to stores choose from, shoe stores, fancy dress, casual wear, basically anything you could picture. It's what Rose always liked about Hogsmeade, it was a small town, but it had anything you could want or need. "So, what first?" Rose asked, looking over at her cousin.

Dominique nodded, she wasn’t used to sneaking out, unless it was with her cousins and she usually trusted them to lead the way. “That sounds good. I just have some prefect rounds tonight, but other than that we have all day.” And I have so much to tell you. She added in her head.

Rose gave her cousin a big grin at her nodding. She was glad that she could get Dominique to go shopping with her. The sneaking out might be difficult, but the castle was big and Rose was confident that the two could do it. "You have it tonight?" Rose asked, "I doubt there'll be that much trouble tonight."

The morning after drinking heavily was always going to be unpleasant, and Julian was suffering with the consequences of the party the evening before. It wasn’t the worst he’d ever felt after something, but rolling around in his bed avoiding the light seemed to be the thing that preoccupied the majority of Julian’s morning — that, and trying to get back to sleep again.

Julian winced as he heard the knock on the door. He thought it was most likely the doing of Everett, but was pleasantly surprised at the figure at the door. “You know I appreciate you visiting, Rose,” the boy said with his voice croaking, “But could you close the door? It hurts to open my eyes.”
