i really like how Beef is looking so far even though hes still a gangly teenager hes really handsome. i cant say how he compares to the standard for his breed but i judge all birds i get by my personal aesthetic standards since thats what im working towards lol.
i like his long body, horizontal posture, and long sturdy legs. he has balanced and pleasing proportions even with the small tail (i like big tails and while his will get larger it wont be that long but thats okay). i also expected these to have fluffier feathers but while theyre very soft theyre actually fairly tightly feathered and look very sleek despite the extra fluff. i hope he doesnt become a meanie. for now hes a sweetie
