Hiiii, and welcome to my blog! You may call me rosy and my pronouns are she/her/hers. I'm a 17 year old fanfic writer who primarily writes fics for The Legend Of Zelda and ATLA fandoms.

My work revolves around a variety of topics and themes but focuses more on romance, fluff and angst for both Zelink and Zutoph. ( If you remember what I wrote here just know...I've fortunately changed my mind;))

I usually post a chapter or short story/wip every friday but being that I'm still a student and don't have to much time on my hands, chapters might sometimes be delayed by a week or two. Please bare with me guys🙏

Unveil The Veil

Summary:

He was a forlorn man who lived and worked part time with his uncle.

She was a fiercely independent metal bending teacher.

When Toph found it difficult to maintain a school on her own and learned that Zuko was in desperate need of a job she reluctantly offered him a position as her assistant. Though hesitant, he accepted.

This marks the beginning of the everyday lives of Zuko and Toph, and the delicate distance that obliviously dwindles between them.

"Your things are on that desk right behind me. Get them, before you set my building on fire,” Toph suddenly voiced, using her thumb to point behind her.

Zuko raised an eyebrow and looked past the short woman's head and sure enough in the corner of the room stood a small desk littered with letters and unopened envelopes.

“How'd you know I was a fire bender?,” he questioned as he brushed past Toph, wanting to ease the tension.

Toph scuffed, "First rink, can't handle their booze, uncontrollable temper and despite this room having air conditioning, it feels noticeably warmer which, judging by the heat radiating off you, it's you're doing.”

An unfortunate update but from now on It might take me a little longer to write a chapter for anything. I'm currently going through a tough time with the divorce of my parents and want to try and support my mom as best as I can, so working and taking care of my brothers is first priority.

I will still be writing. I won't stop writing just because I'm a little busier. I love writing and I write to escape reality even if it's only for a bit. It's my way of expressing who I am and how I pour out my feelings. So I won't quite but with new responsibilities I won't be writing as often.

I didn't have time to write much today BUT I was able to write a summary and come up with a title for my upcoming Zutoph fic!

I'm...I'M FREE!!! I managed to finish my classes before the last day of school so until June 2nd I'm free😭🙏 I'm going to take the weekend to relax and eradicate all the stress these classes inflicted on me. Then next week it's back to work!

Also random info but I decided to rewatch ATLA on my mom's TV because mine is gnome size and she protested at first, not wanting to be stuck watching a "kids cartoon " but when I said it was peak and to trust me she ended up being the one to insist another episode before bed💀 after we finish it(hopefully by this weekend) imma ask for her final opinion!

Also sorry for the lack of Zutoph content. To make up for it here's pictures of my Toph and Zuko mii's(Happily Married!)

I'm at a party and bored out of my mind so I busied myself by imagining what Zuko's and Toph's fashion sense would be in a modern setting!

For Zuko I feel like he's an all baggy kinda guy. Comfy yet stylish or in his case 'fire'😏(OK I'll stop). Something similar to alt fashion like grunge except in various colors of red because well...Fire Nation or wtv.

As for Toph I feel like her and Zuko's fashion sense would be pretty similar just in various greens. I'm also a big believer of Toph not giving a damn and just throwing on wtv she has in her closet in other words, Adam Sandler.

But I also think a tight top, lose/baggy bottoms suits her as well.

But Rosy Toph is blind how would she know what she's buying? Well that's simple, she doesn't. I headcanon that Toph just buys wtv feels the best on her body. Being that she grew up in a rich/noble home, she has a pretty good idea on what good quality fabrics feel like. So when she's shopping she'll feel around, touching different types of clothing until she finds the one that meets her standards. Another way would be just to ask. Toph would know what she does and does not like and could inform a shop attendant or friend(Katara) about her preferences when it comes to clothing and let them do all the work of picking her clothes.

Those are my takes but I'd love to hear what you think their fashion sense would be so feel free to comment your take!

I finally found the time to write a draft for chapter 1 of my Zutoph X Veil fic and I'm pretty satisfied with how it's turning out so far! Still needs a bit of work but that's why it's called a draft! Once I manage to complete all my classes and free myself from my confinements I'll be able to lock in and devote all my time to my fics! Okay Zutoph X Veil AU will happen! Just give me some time to refresh my memory on everything ATLA! Imma re-watch the show since its been a minute but I also wanted to ask if the comics had any 'important' lore that would be worth reading. I've known about the existence of these books but only ever heard bad reviews about them so I didn't bother to read them. But now I'm left wondering if I'm missing out on some important lore by not reading them! So if you can, tell me which books have the most impact on the story and are actually worth a read! ( specifically books that focus more on toph's and zuko's lore?)

I already answered this but I'll paste my answer here and add one new recommendation!

Toph and Zuko: Allurance by Anniered. Honestly I read it long ago but I remember that I liked it.

Your Heart and My Heart Are Very, Very Old Friends by Naite_Laef. One of the first fics I read.

7 works for Toph and Zuko by Strangestar. I really like toko modern au

Mirrors by zematerid. I do like this one very much.

Just Between Us (Did the Love Affair Maim You Too?) by LJF. I love that Mai here is written with a respect. This fic notices how Toph and Mai have a lot in common. That's one of the reasons why I think why Toph and zuko relationship would be possible, Toph is really similar to Mai in many ways, to the girl with who Zuko is in love in canon.

The Phoenix and The Mountains by writinggoblin. this one made my heart melt.

Fun News!

So I have a fun Zutoph fic idea and I think you guys will enjoy it just as much as I do!

As of now I own both volume 1 and 2 of the Manga Veil by Kotteri and I haven't been able to stop imagining Zuko and Toph as the main characters!

So what I plan to do is kinda like a rewrite of each chapter from the Manga but make it Zutoph and add few small differences!

This will be somewhat of a practice fic since I'm not really creating an original story and I'm kinda relying on the Mangas plot but it would be fun nonetheless. Plus it makes for good 3rd person writing practice since I suck booty at 3rd person writing!

Anyways what do you guys think?
