Not that you really /need/ anyone checking up on you, but sometimes I feel the need to make sure my friends are doing alright. Especially you, since we're remarkably similar, and I know that I never do too well when I'm left on my own. I suppose this isn't as much as a "how've you been" message as much as it is one telling you to pick a weekend for me to come up and visit because I can't imagine you'd object to any company right now. (Not that I'd listen anyway.)

Similar to a fault, accurately put. Neither of us are in our better minds when unsupervised; I can't fathom why solitude is so double-edged, heh. 

... Pointless as it is to argue, let me at least vouch for my own state of affairs: I'm perfectly alright, really, though I don't expect you consider that at all. ... I should be available this Saturday, or the next. The door will be open for you.

It's surreal.
