You do realize Libertarians vote, right? Far more people voted Libertarian than Green or a lefty party. Libertarian voters were highly unlikely to have been potential Democrat voters.
If you want to shame us Green voters, then shame away! But don’t use a blanket term like “third party” that includes rightists because frankly? That makes your statement inaccurate.
Stop calling third party votes “protest votes”. They’re not. I’m voting for the candidate I want to be president, that’s not a “protest” that’s me practicing democracy.

I’m honestly tired of people trying to claim that voting third party splits the vote. How about instead advocate for a constitutional amendment for runoff voting so that people can still vote for who they want (Stein) but also vote against who they don’t want (Trump)!
And guess which of the top four parties is the only one that supports this amendment? The Green Party. That’s right, the party you keep trying to sensor and steal votes from could prevent the next election from going to Trump.
So why don’t all of you Hillary supporters vote for Jill Stein instead! You don’t wanna split the vote, right? Or would you rather keep your “democratic” party in power to satisfy the interests of the corporations who use lobbyists to control it behind the scenes (isn’t that, kinda, undemocratic?).
But idk, tho, do what ya want. I mean, I guess y’all could have prevented the rise of Trump a long time ago if you were to vote third party then and push runoff voting through earlier. Perhaps you were to afraid of smaller Trumps back then so you voted for the Trump in disguise?
Although it may seem that the two main parties hate each other, they actually work together, along with corporations, pretty well, behind closed doors. The job of the democratic party is to pass small reforms that give the working-class false hope of progress while they secretly pass bills in favor of corporations. The job of the republicans is to chip away at these reforms so that voters are scared into voting for democrats. And, yes, some democrats have passed larger reforms in the past, but the people had to disturb the system to the verge of a revolution in order for many of these to be passed through!
Not to mention, the democrats aren’t the only party that could be split. The republicans/republican-leaning-independents are already split between Trump and Gary Johnson! So stop acting like the democrats are the only party split either!

I feel like I lose a few brain cells every time I see a self righteous social media comment saying voting for Clinton is the “adult” choice this election. All the Russians in the world won’t change the fact that a vote for her is a vote for corruption, obfuscation & perpetual war, and I will never vote to kill anyone else’s children. Every war is a war against the poor, women, children and elderly. HRC takes money from and sells arms TO the men who fund ISIL. ISIL beheads children.
