maybe a little different in terms of vibes but i refuse to believe that no one has written/imagined a phantom of the opera style retelling of magnus abducting lestat from the theater like all the pieces are there. up and coming star takes on a new role at a paris theater and a mysterious cloaked figure with a face described as white and mask-like is so infatuated he must covet the actor for himself, stealing them away to a labyrinthine stone mausoleum no one else can navigate. the actor tries to tell other people beforehand but no one takes their concerns seriously, even their childhood love, until it is too late.
