So I met True Arahill in the San Diego Warped Tour (08.05.15), my sister was with me when I saw him in a merch tent, and I was so happy and excited to talk to him, so I went running to him and I said hi, he was extremely nice and so I told him I was dying to see them play that day, he told me they would be playing at 6:05 pm and after that they would have a meet & greet, I thanked him and decided to walk around and see other bands. At 5:55pm my sister and I went looking for the stage they would be playing in, and we found it in around 5 minutes, we were really close to the stage and I was close to tears when they went out and started to play. Youth In Revolt is my favorite band, their music has helped through a lot, from my severe anxiety problems to my family problems, which right now are quite big. They are such nice people, when they ended their concert my sister and I went running to their merch tent to meet them, and when they were signing my poster they were talking with me and making jokes. I asked True to take a picture with me and he said yes, I was dying inside when he hugged me. Even my sister went out of Warped with their CD in her hand. I really want to thank them for everything they have done, they’ve taught me a lot, to not give up on my dreams, to fight for what I want, my dream is to become a singer, I want to go up onstage like them and I want to make people feel the way I felt that day, it’s the best feeling ever. Connecting to the music, making people feel important, teaching them to keep going on life, no matter how hard things are. I really love them.
